The Secret History of Bras....
This show was playing on the National Geographic Channel o Cable tonight and I'm taping it but I also found the video online....
I just love history.............. and lingerie... lol Anyone else see this?

It was a really interesting show... The amount of time and people involved in designing one new bra was just hard to believe.. 15 people and 7 departments over 6 months to design a new one... And I was wondering how old being a bra cup model would be .... Might be fun for a while.... but then again being the perfect 34B would me nice.. Lol
I need to send Victoria Secret my resume!!

i love lingerie ! although each time i see an old pic with a woman wearing a bra, i can't help but go eek! and wonder how they could breathe.

that's interesting. i couldn't imagine wearing a corset. those things must have been superrr tight to damage internal organs! that's just crazy!

When I ws in the 7th grade we had to do a 15 minute informative speech, and I did mine on the history of the brassiere, and brought in lingerie catalogs and my mom's bras as visual aides.
