Hey everyone I bought a pair of black suede slouch boots that go up to my mid-calf. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of what to wear with these? I'm afraid a mini skirt would look too skanky. And I live in San Diego, so I can't get too bundled up. Feedback pleaseee!

It's the 80's revived, a mini is theway they were worn back then. I feel funny seeing these things come around again! Try leggings.

I don't think it would look skanky with a mini, but that's just me. Isn't the new thing to wear them over jeans (like skinny leg jeans)?

i see lots of girls wearing minis with them, even though i think it looks weird, but try jeans!

I see alot of New Yorks wear them with Jeans tucked inside of the boots. Where did you get yours? I want a pair.

Yeah, that'd work tucked in jeans. IMO, they don't look skanky with minis either..I saw a girl the other day wearing black slouchy boots with a mini and a black sweater.....it actually looked really cute! But if you don't feel comfortable, don't wear it like that.

Well, I think all minis are skanky because I'm too darn conservative So what about a knee-length skirt? I know knee-high boots are popular with knee-length skirts, but I don't know how a mid-calf boot would work with a knee-length skirt .... I don't know, I am clueless since I only wear boots under pants! (My legs are so darn skinny that boots are always baggy in the calves, so I hide them under pants with a wide or flare leg! lol)

I have a pair too! I usually wear it with jeans. I wore it once with a mini but i felt self-conscious because everyone kept staring at my chicken legs. But i live in new york. I still do think it looks cute with a mini but i would just wear at a different place. U could also try a mid-length skirt as everyone else suggested. I think that would look cute too!

You could team these boots up with a wrap skirt, or even a form fitting knit skirt. The trick is to do something unique with your hosiery. Try fishnets, or textured pantyhose. Even a daring plaid pantyhose is a nice look for your legs with these boots, not matter what length you choose as your skirt. Accent your legs with something stylish and unusual. They will look great! Yes ladies, the 80's are back!! I am not feeling the return of leg warmers though. Still a fashion NOT!

I know you said it's hot where you live but I wear mine with black tights and a mini, its a must for the British winter.
