I love summer, miserable heat and all... why? because I love how summer fashion never really gets outdated or old, summer is the season of the standby's...

Here are my summer standby's:
White mini skirt, white summer dress, white anything actually
plaid shorts
a Beater Tank in every color known to mankind
a pair of white shoes
a pair of brown sandals
a pair of flip flops
lots of gold accessories (because the look good next to a tan)
no bra- bathing suit instead
and one of the following: a baseball cap, a cowboy hat, a big ol floppy hat
a good pair of jeans
2-3 tops to party in
a carry-on to haul it all around in, in case i go on vacay

I think these have been my summer wardrobe staples since the day I was born.
What are your summer fashion standby's?

haha, mine would be pretty much the same.

Add havaiana thongs (in every colour known to man), a denim skirt and some coconut scented 15+ sunscreen

good times.

It's winter here though, so my winter staples are:

pashminas (in every colour known to man - really, shouldn't that be 'woman'?)
an expensive pair of gloves - if you live somewhere super cold they should be kid leather
a cute beret style knitted hat/beanie
black leather boots - one pair of stilettos and one pair of flats

mine is pretty much the same as yours brewgirl, i have to agree about the wife beaters in every color...i literally have almost every color! lol

i've been meanin to get a pair of plaid shorts, you can dress em up or dress em down i really like the look of them.

Yep! I'm with BrewGirl on this one! I love using bikini tops as bras under my tanks. The brighter the color the better! I love Reef flip-flops! They have arch support and they last FOREVER!

I also like to get a new pair of shades for the summer!

I keep flip flops in almost every color and tank tops for fact in every color as well. I don't like anything but jeans so as long as i have some comfortable pairs then i'm set for summer.

i'll add my green flip flops and (please prepare your hearts) my linen pants. plus my flats and my trusty pair of sneakers (cheaper version of Converse) in case i have some blisters and need to hide them.

and if i'm on holidays, you'll always see me with a sarong, i have several i like to wear, it's very versatile.

I heart linen pants during summer!!! and pique!!!! only season you get to wear either, so i take advantage.

I mostly wear dresses during summer. I love dresses.
I wear flip flops almost year round.
