Well, I am off to Toronto and then Vancouver next week, and was hoping to take the opportunity to do a leetle (MWAHAHAHA!) bit of shopping. One thing I have great trouble finding is decent clothing in plus sizes. I am a US size 20, and not many places seem to stock clothes that large, plus when they do they tend to be old lady clothes (if you know what I mean!)

So I was wondering if any of the Canadians MuTers out there know of any stores that cater to plus sized people, or stores that have a decent section with plus sizes. US stores that I could find in Toronto/Vancouver are also great, and if there are some department stores I should check out, please let me know.

Any help is much appreciated, I really want to find some nice clothes to wear while I'm on holiday

not sure if they have these stores in canada, but here in the US there is Lane Bryant and Torrid store that are for plus size clothing

Where I'm from the best +size store is AdditionElle, common in most malls. Never saw a Lane Bryant but Toronto has alot more stuff when it comes to shopping.... great shoe stores

Hi Isabelle,
Aside from AdditionElle, there's also Laura Plus, which has some great stuff. Depending on where in TO you're going and what style ur into, there's also a store called Voluptuous, which caters more to the sexier styles of clothing. As far as I know, they have stores in the Greater Toronto Area (like the Scarborough Town Centre). My sis is a plus size, and she LOVES this store
