The reason I ask is we were watcjhing one of those home shows and this woman was showing her Green home... And she was wearing a LBD with jeans... First I thought it was a long top but the more I looked the more I was sure it was a dress.. Or used to be...

Then the other day at work.. One of the summer intern girls was wearing a nice yellow flowered dress with white dess slacks.. And there was no doubt... It was a knee length dress.. And I've see girls wearing legging and the like but pants?

So is this the new rage? Do you wear slacks with a dress?

I certantly wouldn't... For obvious reasons...

That's strange..I dont think I've seen that before, just the leggings and dresses which I think is cute as long as the dress isn't too long. But slacks?? Hmm..

Lol!! Maybe that was an old show I was watching and here in Pittsburgh were 5 or 6 years behind on everything.... Well everything except gas prices!! Lol

I do remember when I was little.. And girls wearing slacks and dresses but it was like 40 below zero!!!

I've never seen anyone wearing slacks with a dress, but leggings don't look too bad!

i've never liked that look. you either wear the slacks or the dress...not both!!

I'm not really down with that style. I think it's really hard to pull that look off successfully.

Never slacks.. but I have seen jeans.

It really depends how short the dress is. I think knee length or below is too long to be wearing with pants, but shorter than that.. it can look cute!

Dresses should only be worn with tights or leggings, some mega short ones you can maybe get away with jeans. Just my opinion!

i think that style is from the 70's or 80's.. the knee length dress and slacks... i will wear the dress with leggings maybe but not with slacks, for jeans it's debatable, depending on the length probably...

yeah it seemed to be a big hit a few years back... don't see many people wearing it these days... I never went for that look myself!

i actually like that style when the dress is not too long (above the knee), it can look good with jeans, especially if it's too cold/windy outside to just wear the dress. i prefer that to leggings.
