What kind of socks do you primarily wear? Dress socks, athletic socks, booties (or whatever they're called), no socks, hosiery.

9 times out of ten, you'll find me wearing Hanes Her Way Athletic Crew Socks, plain white.

When I'm wearing jeans and sneakers its those white "sweat socks" but for work I'm always wearing pants and my socks and pants must be the same color. i.e. black w/ black, grey w/ grey.

There's nothing I hate more (speaking of socks) than seeing folks with dressy pants wearing white athletic socks. I think guys are more famous for making this " fashion faux pas" than women though.

When you're wearing boots I think anything goes because who's going to see them anyway?

My work socks and anything black-dress socks, athletic. I prefer no socks-especially in the summer lol

97% of the time it's white athletic socks, but I do have dress socks that I wear for work. It depends on what kind of shoe I'm wearing.

At work, dress socks in the color of my pants or shoes, or nylons -- depends on what kind of shoes I'm wearing and if I'm wearing pants or a skirt.

For casual wear, brown or khaki socks when I'm wearing my casual brown leather shoes, or athletic socks when I'm wearing tennis shoes.

And when I wear my tall boots (for both work and casual), I wear all my funny cartoon character socks since no one can see them lol (No I didn't buy the cartoon socks for myself, but I get them in Christmas stockings and such sometimes....)

I wear cutie and funny socks at work. I wear scrubs everyday and it gets boring so I have a huge wardrobe of funky socks!!! monkeys, cherries, teeth, stripes, hearts, dogs, words,lips, seasonal.....!!!! the girls check my feet everyday!!!!
In my real life, I wear black angora type socks ....I don't want them seen.

i'm terrible w/ buying socks. I SO need to get some. I wear guys sport socks and ones my bf doesn't want, isn't that terrible? I think its coz I'm always in boots in the winter, so no-one knows, well, almost ...

A few years ago i had an emergency meeting at work, i was all dolled up in a long skirt, high heel boots, looking good .... anyway I had to go to this client's house and of course, take off my boots. WHAT was I wearing under the boots? oil riggers. yep, grey wool with an orange construction stripe at the top. HOW embaressing

mostly plain white ankle socks (CK ones are awsome when i can find them).

or else the only other socks i have are like knee highs for when i wear skirts or something.

OO! I am such a sock addict. I wear boots a lot, so I often wear boot socks. With sneakers or heels I wear something fancier and striped and colorful and printed and otherwise funky! I really like all the unique funky socks at http://www.sock-dreams.com

All of my socks have some type of funky stripes or designs. I have never worn plain white socks.

I have a shortage of good socks for work. I always wear pants to work and I find either the material is too thin or too thick. I'm always on the hunt for good trouser socks in either black or grey.

I love socks. Most of the time I wear colourful cotton socks, the wilder the colour the better When I'm wearing skirts I love everything from fishnets, knee high, stockings, colourful pantyhose,...
I'd sometimes buy pantyhose just because I like the pattern / colour; even if I don't have anything to wear with them lol
