What to wear?
I've got a wedding to go to in two weeks and I still have no idea what I will be wearing. It's so hard this time of year - I have no idea what the temperature will be, what others will be wearing etc...
Any ideas?

Re: What to wear?
Well, there's a lot of factors to consider, mainly, what kind of wedding is it? Indoors, outdoors, afternoon, evening, formal, informal? Do you know anyone else going to the wedding -- you can always ask them what they're wearing! Finally, if you're totally clueless, there's nothing wrong with asking the bride or maid of honor or someone what the dress will be like! I asked my mother-in-law what I should wear to my brother-in-law's wedding

Re: What to wear?
resize.aspx.jpgJust carry a small jacket along with you. But For weddings, I usually try to shy away from blacks or white [you dont want to look like a funeral planner or outshine the bride in white]. So I would say soft pastels.

Pastels will probably work at any wedding. However, black is perfectly acceptable (even common place) for a formal evening wedding! And since it is fall, rich or dark colors will also work just fine! Just don't ever wear white or ivory, cream, etc. since you don't want to match the bride!
Probably the biggest concern is just figuring out how formal the wedding will be -- color is not extremely important, just don't wear anything too out-of-place (like a black dress to an outdoor summer wedding!), so as long as you match the formality you will be fine

Re: What to wear?
Its a formal afternoon wedding. I thought about asking someone, but I really don't know a lot of the people that will be there, except the birde who I really dont want to bother with this (and to let her know that I don't have a dress yet for her wedding!). I do like the idea of pastels.

Re: What to wear?
It's late September, and I don't know what the weather is like where you are, but here it's getting chilly in the afternoon and evening. I'd wear a richer color or something with rich accents, but something that still has a summery feel. I always end up suggesting dresses from Anthropologie, because they have awesome feminine and unique stuff! Here's what I'd wear if I was going to a wedding in September:
Ume Dress
Skylight Dress
Reflections Dress
Everglade Dress - I think this is my favorite
Emerald Dress
Good luck with finding the perfect dress!

I like the dresses mehrunissa suggested!
Also, the one you picked Terri is gorgeous! Do you know the colors of her wedding?
