I'm going to the Christening of my friend's baby this Sunday but I can't afford anything new and am struggling to find what to wear.

If you guys could give me any ideas then I might be able to work with what I've got in my wardrobe!

it´s been a while since I´ve been to a Christening but as far as I remember people usually dress pretty conservative, and are not too made up/dressed up. I´d say the safest choice would be black slim dress pants with a colored top (pastels would look great on you I bet), not too high black heels.

Or you could wear a light colored knee length skirt with a uni colored top, but I am guessing it might be too cold for that. At least it´d be too cold for that in our churches, they are usually freezing cold!

A nice knee length skirt and maybe a cardigan set. Something very conservative with simple and sophisticated makeup. Nothing overdone.

i would go with a pretty dress or skirt set. you could also go with a nice pants and shirt.
just make sure that its conservative. no jeans or anything like that. of course, in the
church or chaple cover exposed areas of the body
