What is your favourite way to jazz up an outfit?
what is your favourite way to jazz up an outfit? are you a belt person? a bag person? or do you prefer to wear killer shoes to seal the deal?
I'm looking for some good ways to jazz up outfits, but also how to choose a good accessory?
Actually, while we're at it, what do you think is the hottest accessory of this season?

Re: What is your favourite way to jazz up an outfit
I am actually an earrings kind of girl I never have enough time or patience to change my purse out often enough ( I have too much stuff! lol) to make that a workable and changeabel accessory, and I can't *stand* the way belts feel, evenif they look really cute (I have about a bunch of them just lying in the bottom of a drawer, some of which I've NEVER worn, because I've wanted to be belt girl, but it just isn't me! The shoe thing, well, at a size 10, unless you have more money than I do to fork over for some of those tootsies, you buy what you can and think comfort first, and style a very close second, and then color third, so I don't have a rainbow assortment of shoes to dress up my outfits, although you can bet that because I'm a size 10 shoe, most of my heels are sky high lol. Earrings are so much easier as they are most of the time one size fits all (unless they are those huge hoops that some girls need really long necks for), and you can switch them out quickly, store them easily, and own a ton of them. They don't *have* to be expensive in order for them to be pretty and you can still get about at least a month's worth of use out of the cheap ones Plus, I don't exactly have promninent bone structure in my face, so I like them because not only do they dress my outfits up, but they help my hair and makeup along by by drawing my neck in and cheeks up. Always a plus.

Re: What is your favourite way to jazz up an outfit
most often a bag - I have a big collection of cute and unique bags to make my outfit more fun. I usually will chose a funky, unique bag if my outfit is simple and vice versa - if my outfit is more funky, the handbag will be more simple and unassuming. I also like to brighten my outfits with a handbag - I will wear a silver or yellow, if my outfit is mostly dark colors. I also often go for a headband too, especially when I think my outfit is too boring. Silver or satin black will go with almost anything. I love belts and earings too. Basically, if I am wearing a funky belt, I will skip the headband, if I am wearing big earings, I won't wear necklace and so on - to avoid looking like a Christmas tree. I also try not to be too matchy matchy, hate if all the accessories are the same color, it just looks like you try too hard.
Recently I am trying out scarves - they are fun, but if I wear a scarf, I feel like I need a really simple top.
I often copy ideas from magazines, I just cut out the pictures of nice combination of outfits and accessories and stick them to the board - that's a good system to remember some unique looks.

Re: What is your favourite way to jazz up an outfit?
For me its a purse and jewelry. I am not a hat person or even a shoe person so purses and jewelry are the way to go.

Shoulder pads, a splash of something red, or any type of animal print accessory as long as it matches.
