This Marley & Me must be some pretty potent rom-com. Be careful who you see it with, as you may have to marry them. First Jennifer Aniston throws caution to the wind and drapes herself all over John Mayer. Now her co-star, Owen Wilson, is rumoured to have proposed to his girlfriend Kate Hudson.

Kate was looking pretty convincingly engaged on Thursday when she left a restaurant in Boston wearing a big diamond solitaire ring. A friend of Kate's told the News of the World that Owen did, indeed, propose to People magazine's Most Beautiful People cover girl, and a ceremony is slated for next year.

You'd think that after splitting with Chris Robinson, Kate would be eager to take a cue from her mom Goldie Hawn and step-dad Kurt Russell and just stay happily partnered, especially considering Kate doesn't believe in monogamy and Owen goes to the Playboy Mansion on a regular basis. But if we can get past the whole doomed marriage part, uh, we're sure they'll look lovely in the wedding photos.

Owen to Kate –- Just Me, Myself, and Me



The on-off saga of Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson (O-Kate? Son-Son?) is off again.

People reports that the split "was a pretty bad breakup" and that Owen, at least, "doesn't want to dwell on it ... He wants to put it behind him." No matter – both Owen and Kate have been out and about rockin' the nightlife, Kate in Boston, and Wilson in NYC.

We spotted O out at Butter having grand old time Monday night.
