BUT, did she really lose weight?

Everyone is probably wondering how Mariah Carey lost 20 pounds and three sizes.
Here’s the answer…
She probably didn’t.
Yes, Mariah Carey has slimmed down a bit recently. However, the “before” photo on the cover is from October of 2006! Could they not find a more recent photo of her looking 20 pounds heavier?
Apparently not…
Also, here is a “real” photo of Mariah Carey from just last week, performing at Universal City in Hollywood, CA:

Hmm, does she look remotely like her “after” image on the cover?
Nope!
So to sum up, we’ve got a “before” photo that is 1 1/2 years old, and a heavily photoshopped “after” image.
Do you still think Mariah Carey has recently lost 20 pounds?
These tabloid weight loss cover claims are getting more ridiculous each month… it’s a well known fact that weight loss cover stories sell more magazines. After all, with obesity rates skyrocketing, everyone wants to get their hands on the diet secrets of the rich, skinny and famous… (Too bad we won’t find their true skinny secrets in these magazines!)

OH NO!!!! I really, really wanted to believe that I could lose 20 lbs and 3 dress sizes and get my teenage body back by following her diet plan and exercise regime. Now I'm so shattered I'm going to start pigging out on everything in my refrigerator!!!!

What next? Are you going to tell me that Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny are not real???

I saw her on Saturday Night Live recently - not the encore one but the one about 6-7 weeks ago.
She looked good, maybe a few pounds smaller.
Her wardrobe was very slimming - and it doesn't hurt that all the performers on stage with her, were wearing baggy clothes.

The mag cover does look PS but I've seen her on tv quite a few times and her legs are very toned now and her waist is definately SMALLER.

I don't really think she lost 20lbs but I do think she lost weight. I saw her performing on Good Morning America and I was amazed at slimmed she look.

When she was on American idol recently she looked thinner than in that picture posted. Doesn't really matter to me how big or small she is though.

Well..I'm a fan of Mariah Carey, I wish I had her body...
I don't like at all the picture from the cover of the magazine, I think she looks too skinny, but I like her in the photo performing at Universal City in Hollywood
