I told you guys that I have a new job and today I was supposed to present my work to my employer. I suggested an hour and my employer told me she was full and she will make some time and she will call me. I've been waiting for so many hours and I'm sick and tired!
I just can't wait around and do nothing else because she isn't serious! I have to wait all day for her phone call and then I have to leave immediately as in a few minutes! I haven't even been able to see my boyfriend because of that!!!
I am seriously mad!
She told me she will give me a ring! Yeah right I came home and saw her online and contacted her, she didn't even keep her word and call me!! I mean this is a total lack of respect!

oh yeah, and on my interview she complained that young people aren't serious and don't respect deadlines or hours... I sent on saturday what was due today! and i called her when i said i would

Well she hasn't called me, I thought she wouldn't so I called my boyfriend.
I'll wait for her to contact me, I'm still upset but it's her choice.
The thing is she taught other employees how to do their jobs and I actually do mine by myself and a good job... She's like this only with me!
It's reaaaaaaaaaaally frustrating!

I don't know either of you, but based on your last post, it could slightly be a possibility that you're already proving your worth and she's trusting that you know what you're doing without needing her guidance and/or approval.

Regardless, if she has a secretary, I'd make an appt. to meet with her. Or send her a meeting request from whatever e-mail software the company uses (if you use Outlook, and she denies it, keep the proof!).

No, it's nothing like that. We always talk in person on on the phone and I have to show her because she needs to approve the project. I can't ask her for a meeting anymore, I'm going to leave it to her.
I think she doesn't take me seriously because I'm really young and she has a child of her own but I still think she shouldn't treat me like this.
I already sent her a mail and she said she received it and she's going to call me so it isn't efficient

That is just such a preconceived idea that young people are careless and irresponsible, yeah there might be some that are like that but i also know people that are close to their 40's or in their 50's and are very irresponsible and childish.
So i think its so rude of her to ignore you and keep putting you off with you just because she thinks you're not worth taking into account because of your age.
Sounds to me like she is judgmental and ignorant.
I hope you get another and better job opportunity soon, doesnt sound like its worth working for her at all!

Carolyn because I know what she wanted the other time, she wanted me to zoom out the door as soon as she called. Yes I eventually called my boyfriend and he came over. I'm glad I did that :P

I wouldn't wait by the phone if I was you though. She should be smart enough to realise that no matter how important she is she can't expect people to drop things for her. And if this is out of working hours she's got no right to expect you to sit by the phone waiting for her call.

I hope she calls. She sounds like a pain in the A and I hope that you can maybe find a new job, or get this situation sorted out. It's so rude!

It's Thursday and she actually hasn't called.
Yes, she has my cell phone number.
She's online but I have no idea what to say.
I'll say "Can you at least tell me if the design was ok or not?"
Argh she's telling me to wait again. God I'm glad I'm not talking to her right now, I might start yelling

Now she's pointing out everything I did wrong and i actually asked her if I should do that and I told her and she said "Yeah, I wanted to see if you would actually do that". I'm boiling.

heres the thing sweetie... in the world you meet some messed up disrespectful people... you can't expect everyone to be as kind hearted as you and so considerate, if you do in the end your just going to get bit on the ass because you have too high of an expectation for that one person... sometimes you just gotta let things go...

im sure i'll be mad too... but you have to understand that there are people in the world that are just rude and immature... they can only adjust schedules to their time...

and honestly, so what if she has the authority over you, there always is someone greater to turn to, as long as your doing your job right then your okay... so what if shes your boss? im sure she has a boss too, if she is being unfair and unreasonable just turn to her boss and explain yourself... she should be more responsible and not so forgetful for example use sticky notes to remember that she has to call so and so employees...

anyway.. i say dont stress about it sweetie... someone that doesnt respect you and keeps you waiting for them for DAYS for just one phone call isnt worth your time... and if she does call, let your answering machine get it... and make it time to make her wait! muahahaha! jk

but yeah! dont stress people like that arent worth your time
