What's taking you so long ??????

We're september 2, and i still don't have my paycheck. In every other job i had the paycheck is given at the end of that month, not the beginning of the other. And the banks are opened today, so does a simple writing on bank accounts take so much time ?? And if i remember correctly, in accounting in France paychecks must be given every 30 days, and i remember the boss telling on august 1st he was preparing the paychecks, so it means he's already in the red zone, legally speaking. And even if calculating paychecks can be complicated, we are a small team and almost everything involves a computer.

Oh yeah, and the ****'ng idiot who cleaned the floor today left everything in place so when i was putting plates near the counter for tomorrow, one of my feet met the sewer and i fell graciously (ahem, not really) on the floor. I didn't care for the fact i was wet, my clothes were dirty anyway, but still. I didn't appreciate something a girl told me, yes i knew the floor would be wet, but i don't leave it so wet people can fall and i don't take off the protection on the sewer when there as no need to do so at that time. Either you do the stuff correctly and in order, or you don't. Although working for a fast food restaurant isn't exactly the best job in the world, it doesn't mean you can be lazy and halfdo stuff.

Well that sounds really crappy. I hope you get paid soon and if not I'm sure there's something you can do legally. And that sucks you fell! Sometimes work just freaking sucks!

they sound like jerks! I remember when I used to work for Maccas (as us Aussies call it)... they thought they could get away with the craziest things.. never the money, which was lucky, seeing as how it was so little, but everything else they thought they could get away with!!

grrr! I would point out to them that yeah, it's illegal to withhold your money from you!

and then if possible i'd say I couldn't do another shift until the outstanding amount had been paid.

I thought it was a legal entitlement that you get your paycheck on time?
I'd definatley say something about it.

thanks guys. i got paid last thursday, now i'm waiting for next month see if it's their way of handling things, or if it was just an accident or a delay. hopefully it was just a problem of me having my first paycheck there, getting things started.

that's true, A, it can just be when they first start paying you.. but still, you might need that money for rent or anything! they don't know what financial commitments you have!

at my last job it took them SIX WEEKS to pay me! and the pay schedule was supposed to be every 2 weeks! I was so furious!

i know how you feel i need to get my paycheck on the 10th and becuas my boss got some feinans problams he said that he will give me the money later and i got it only at the 28th i was really pist and i looked for another job
altho ireally like this ine my boss is a really nice person but hey we arnt working for free are we?

we need the money to pay bills and to buy stuff that we need or to buy things just for fun thats why we are working

in here we got a place that we can give them a copy of the paycheck and they go to the boss and make him to add you more money for all the time that you waited for your paycheck so he will realise that what he did was wrong

i dont have the gats to do it i affriad that he will fire me
and another thing i need to work 6 houers and on the holiday he wants that i will work 12 and he will not add me more money for the exstra houers .........
