I am officially a black cat. I knew i had subscribed to Murphy's law, but still.

In public transports for Paris and its suburds, there are different areas. I only need to extend my current subscription with two more areas. I am not asking for the moon or stars here.

I call, I buy tickets, I go to different desks at different stations, just to be finally told the chip is agonising !! That's why they cannot upgrade anything !! So i have a limited pass for 15 days (time needed to make a new card with a valid chip) for the old suscription, and i pay another pass for the two areas i wanted to add to my subscription.

I am so pissed !!

So i left home early this morning for nothing, i was almost late for work !!

In eight years in the parisian area, it's the second time my chip dies. It doesn't seem to happen to anyone but me, so where has gone my luck ??

Our transit system isn't that sophisticated. We just buy a pass for the month and show it to the driver when we get on the bus. Or we can buy up to 10 tickets or pay $2.50 a ride.
Sorry to hear about the runaround. The price is right, but otherwise our system has a lot of problems to deal with as well.
