My *Niece* Help me!!

21 y/o 3 months preg by a abuser, beat her up while preg a few times and yesterday he called her to come over and purposely had her walk in on him while he was doing the dirty deed with some 38 yrs old crack lady
and now my fiance saw her with him..
|Im trying to help her by finding her a place n stuff ,shes clean but not thinking straight
what should I do

Maybe she needs to stay at a Domestic Abuse Shelter? It is really sweet that you want to help her.

Maybe you could find her a counselor or a support group. Sometimes it's easier to take advice from people who have been through the same situation themselves.

That's too bad she's still with him. I'm concerned about your niece but more so for the baby. She's definitely old enough to understand that staying with this guy is a bad thing but oblivious to the fact that her baby is also at risk here. It's not fair to her child that she continue to be with an abusive man. If you haven't already sat down and told her you want to help, then you should. Someone needs to instill in her that she's not the only one getting hurt here. Geez, this bothers me!

I think she needs to seek help at an abuse shelter for sure and get him away from her and make sure she stays clean

You need to take her to a shelter and get her some immediate help to realize that shes not in a healty situation and that wanting to go back is not good for her.

Try and make her realize that her baby is more important than any man she'll ever come across, daddy or not.

Sorry to hear about your niece Ricci.

In my community, if a pregnant woman showed up at a shelter having just left an abusive relationship, they would bend over backwards to find housing and counceling for her.
And help her with furnishing a new apartment and getting her baby needs met. They would also make sure the abusive partner could not hurt her anymore.

IMHO, I would tell her to get a job and then she could stay with me, but no crack head bf's or druggie friends. Her new baby will motivate her to get her shit together, I hope.

wow, that's horrible. great to see you're trying to help her. you can get social workers for cases like this, right? oh, and if he's such a big crackhead, call the cops on him. that'll take him out of her life.

She is still hanging out with him.. Im going to all the police because if they are caught together he will go to jail.. ok I just found that out from My son

Oh I hope you can help her out, she's obviously in a fragile state being pregnant and all. She really just needs a person like you to help her out even if she doesn't admit it. I'm hoping that she leaves that guy!
