Omg So Irritated With Noisy Neighbors!!

They are having a party right now and is 1:40 am. Is there a certain time where I can report a domestic disturbance? Because this is getting ridiculous, they are right by my window too!!! And they are having bbq's at 1:40 in the morning? seriously???? wth...i swear i really hate my neighbors!

yes, you should call the police and report them. In Australia, you can complain if people are making noise after 11pm I think!

That's so annoying. All week I've had kids riding their scooters outside of my apartment at 11pm and it's been driving me nuts. I can't believe you're dealing with a freaking get together. I would definitely call.

Usually how it works is if you call the police once about a neighbour making an unreasonable amount of noise (especially after 11pm) and then they don't get any further complaints they drop it but if they get more than one call about the noise at the same address they'll send officers there to tell them to keep the noise down. If the same address has to be visited again and again they can be fined or taken to court. That's how it works in the UK anyway.

I feel your pain. Check you local laws. I am in North Carolina and you can call in a noise complaint at any time of day. It really depends on the officer who gets the call as to whether or not they get a ticket.

Most places I've ever lived have a city/town/county noice ordinance where it needs to be kept to a minimum after like 11pm. The police won't call, but they will come over. Especially if more than one neighbor complained.

I know the noise has to be shut down by 9 PM here... I dunno if that applies for all of California. Afterwards, you can call the pigs and complain about the noise.
