I'm really frustrated right now.

Yesterday my cell phone rang right before dinner and my mom picked it up. She answered it and then handed the phone to me saying it was...well, we'll just call him "D". Anyway, I don't know anyone by this name. So I was just like "Huh? Umm...ok?"

So I took the phone and said "Hello?". Turns out it's some guy that says I gave him my number and he's trying to talk to me and asks me if I remember him, etc.

Ok, I haven't given any guys my number for at LEAST three years. I have a vague memory of who I might think this is, but I don't remember ever giving him my number. I think we met once and talked for like three minutes. Three years ago (or more).

Anyway, I told him that I didn't remember him (because I'm not even sure it's who I'm thinking of) and he was giving me a whole bunch of attitude and was all "How old are you? I mean, you had your mom answer your phone for you?" etc. It's not really what he was saying but the way he was saying it. And then he kept saying he wanted to send me his picture. As if that would change anything...you know, because I should totally recall someone I had a short conversation with once years ago. Blah. Anyway, the more he talked, the more frustrated I got.

So I just thought to myself "forget this" and I just hung up and turned my phone off and ate dinner. lol. Ok, I know that's a really b****y thing to do, but I was really annoyed.

Anyway, I turned it back on today, and he had sent me a text message saying:

"Damn y u hung up. u give me ur numb then dont wanna talk? ne ways if u need 2 c a picture ill send u one"

I don't need a picture. I don't want a picture.

I didn't date until I was 23. I went out on dates with three guys when I was 23 and I haven't dated (or given my number out to anyone) since. I just don't want to date. I like being on my own. Seriously, when I WAS dating, I'd feel smothered if a guy even wanted to hang out more than once a week. lol.

Anyway, I can't believe that this guy not only waited YEARS to call me, but then expects me to remember him and still be interested? Ugh.

I know I was b****y, but I just want to be left alone! lol.

just tell him your not interested in a relationship at the moment ... its not your problem and you dont have to feel sorry ... also he sounds a bit wierd contacting you after all that time so i would just forget about him...but make sure you let him know or he might never leave you alone thinking he has got a chance haha...oh and its cool that your so independent ... sorry if im not much help x

He sounds weird and creepy. Is there a way of blocking his number? I'm not sure if that can be done on a cell phone or you could contact your cellular comany to find out.

Sounds like this putz was horny and looking to get lucky. He then rifled through his little black book or pieces of paper and dug up your number.

What a loser. Best thing you can do is to just ignore him and he will go away.

Ugh, I'd just totally forget about it! If he is calling after 3 years then it sounds like he is just looking for something. I agree with everyone else about the block. But maybe Mari is right, a random prank call? Either way he sounds like a creep.
