Sites for blogging/privacy ??
ok, i didn't know where to put this & it may seem like a retardo question but...is there like a website where i can create my own personal space that noone sees, just so i can write down my goals & deadlines, lists of things, diary type entries, etc ?? it would be nice if i could do more than just create blogs, like i could post anything i wanted..pics, videos, etc. i know there are sites like photo bucket but that defeats the writing purposes i need..
reason i'm asking is i keep a paper journal with stuff like that in it, & let's just say i find it very ineffective & can be a huge invasion of privacy....
i've heard of livejournal but i dunno how it works. .
thanx!
*just felt like making this pink & new font!

Re: Sites for blogging/privacy ??
Livejournal allowed you to make journal entries private. You just sign up for the account, write your entry, and choose private at the bottom.

Re: Sites for blogging/privacy ??
vox allows you to do those things.. it has connections with loads of sites - facebook, photobucket, and others I can't think of!
it has the option at the bottom of the edit/add blog section to select 'private' - which means it's a hidden entry that only you see. You can add pictures, videos, music.. whatever you want.

I use livejournal and you can set entries so that only you can see them.

Another LJ user here. I also make some of mine private so that only I can see them.

I've never used LJ but I have friends who do and it sounds like it's perfect for what you're looking for

Livejournal is definitely a good tool or also blogger.com
As long as you don't give people the link, then no one would know its your blog.

The first rule to remember about the internet. If you want to keep it private, don't post it on the internet.

Re: Sites for blogging/privacy ??
A lot of blogs now offer privacy. Even on myspace blogs, you can set it up so only you can see it.
Youtube, photobucket - all that have options to keep private if you wanted to upload something and keep it discreet!
I've used Xanga before. Now on blogspot. It gave me the option to share my blog with the public or not.
