Black.White.

I used the search button, but I didnt find anything, so here it goes, a new thread

has any of you seen this new show " Black.White."? I heard its on wednesdays and it premiered on March 8th. I feel bad I missed the first episodes, but I want to watch the next ones. I want to see it so bad, seems like an excellent idea for a show. I dont think they ever had show like this before. Hopefully it will be eye opening for many people.

A local radio station was talking about this today. They spent a good deal of time discussing and taking calls. I want to see it myself, but hadn't heard of it until this morning. I'd like to hear from those who have seen it.

I seen the last episode. it was really interesting! I like how they are showing confussion, different reactions, emotions. this makes it real (of course to an extent that reality show can be "real"), not trivial or cheesy. I can imagine how challenging this is for both families. I will keep watching. what did you guys think?

I understand th premise of the show, but I think it would have been more eye opening to change their appearances and send them back into their own daily lives and routines just to have a set control. That way, they will be able to really see if there was anything different.

I haven't seen it, but I'm interested in watching it. I have a long list of shows I always mean to watch, but never do!

I've been dying to see this show since we had a discussion about it in my sociology class. Unfortunetely we were talking about it after the last episode. I wish they'd air it again.

I saw one episode of it and never bothered to watch another one. I may be way off in saying that the white people on the show stereotyped the African American family way too much. I guess they went through an extensive interview process and wanted it to be a family that didn't have a clue. Sorry if I'm being rude about it. I do agree with Noxious that they should have sent them off into their own daily lives.

I think both families had some stereotyped views of each other, that is why there was so much tension there. I only seen two or three episodes, but this was my impression.
