What is the Deal with The Big Brother Hype?

Okay, I am attempting to actually watch an episode of Big Brother for the first time. I am LMAO. It is by far the silliest thing I have ever tried to watch! It is part entertainment magazine, part game show, part freak show, and completely outer limits! I am laughing at the sheer silliness of it! I can't even watch! LOL LOL LOL

I am not insulting anyone...God know some of my favorite shows are really stupid...but geez...LOL I'm going to bust a gut. Is it supposed to elicit this response or am I missing something?

Well..honestly this isnt the best season to start watching....but having seen all the previous ones, its addictive.

I am a huge Big Brother fan. Why? I think its entertaining. Like Saja said, for people who haven't seen the show before, this season isn't the best season to start watching because you don't know the backstory of each season. But if you say that you are laughing at the sillyness, then what is the problem? IMO, its pure entertainment. At least that is what it is for me. Its a show that is on during the summer that isnt on reruns and is addictive as heck!

i think you have to watch the first six season to understand the hype (and each character) behind this all-star season. but it is addicting!

I only saw the last few episodes of last season, but I enjoyed it! I keep missing this season A LOT, but it is addicting! My family just doesn't believe in me watching TV on a decent sized screen!

Well, the funniest thing I saw were these people freaking out when the....oops...can't say that...may spoil it for people in other time zones. Anyway, it was funny.
