When I first joined I thought all these limitations and rules were frustrating, but I learned patience is a virtue. Can't wait til I get 800 posts and see the vid's! Hmm...let's see, I got like 670 more posts to go? lol :P

Thanks girls for explaining our reasoning. A lot of these rules are made to protect users from trolls, spam or even being taken by someone. I know that some users are probably annoyed that they can't access the videos. Well think about this...how many sites have videos from users that help users with their make up, etc? Not many...

Like some have said, it is a privilege and it also costs money for the bandwith use. If you had everyone looking at the videos in the same time period, then it would slow everything up.

Anyways, I hope you can understand the restrictions and that you take the time to enjoy MUT.

Wow, I am amazed at all of the excellent responses! We really do have wonderful users and I have seen this right here in this thread with the replies that try to do their best to console one of our new users.

On the PM's, Venus hit the nail on the head. Spammers/trolls LOVE to hit message boards up and launch a PM love affair with poor users who do NOT know any better. Now, we can watch them for 50 posts and we'll get a good handle on what kinda person they are. Spammers don't have the patience to post 50 times. We don't have patience for spammers/trolls...they are squashed like a bug quickly.

Lva, Lia Matos, Pinkbundles, Aquila all have said it so well. They explain so well that I will shut my mouth now. Thank you ladies for writing back to one of our beloved users.

Wow!!! You gals know your stuff!!! Well said! It does help keep out the spammers, as well as keeping the 'real' info out in the open. It wouldn't be much fun if you ask a question... only to have it buried under 100 new posts in 10 minutes of all spam --- so that nobody sees yours. Plus it keeps the site free!

For Kitti, Jackie and other new users, the key to get those hundreds of post numbers is just try to enjoy the FREE forum and soon you probably won't even realize that you're getting those hearts one by one until you hit the Video Access queen

i agree, its a little ridiculous to have to have a certain amount of posts in order to enable use certain features. but i suppose mods know what theyre doing, and we should trust them :-)
