Same here, I have porecelain skin, black hair and dark brown eyes, and it really suits me.
Like clothes, makeup is also about the ATTITUDE - if you look confident wearing it, you can pull almost anything off.
(Note I said "ALMOST" )

Re: Smokey Look great on everyone??
I think it would work for pale skin, but it sounds tricky having smoky eye and red lipstick. But celebrities like Eva Green (the James Bond girl) looks great in it.

Re: Smokey Look great on everyone??
It doesnt have to be a black smokey eye, it can be grey, so that is not too harsh on you due to your skin tone.

Re: Smokey Look great on everyone??
i heard that when you decides to put smokey eye you should go light on your lips..cuz if not itll be too much...so try nude like lips with lipgloss.

Re: Smokey Look great on everyone??
Also it depends on what clothes you wear with the makeup, i think?
My friend used to tease another girl saying her
" Have you been punched?" "Who punched you?" because the girl's smokey technique wasn't good enough.

Re: Smokey Look great on everyone??
I also agree that smokey eyes can be a variety of colors, not just the dark black and gray colors. If you work with some a little, you will find something that is perfect for you that you feel comfortable wearing.

Re: Smokey Look great on everyone??
I think that smokey eyes can suit anyone, as long as it's applied well.
But i wouldn't go for red lipstick, stick to maybe a clear gloss or something

I'm an ameteur when it comes to the smokey eye look. it seems so simple. 3 simple steps, 3 colors but it never turns out right.

Re: Smokey Look great on everyone??
I've been struggling with this myself--I am fair too & have light colored eyes. I think it all falls on what colors you choose & what shape your eyes are/what shape you do the eyeshadow in. I had a post about this recently & got some very good tips in my post if you can find it.

Re: Smokey Look great on everyone??
it's all about trying different combos. i have light skin, brown hair and brown eyes, and what suits me best is either Mac violet pigment+Dark Soul pigment or Pinked Mauve pigment +Dark Soul.
i also found it's important to use a pale e/s as a highlighter, and lips have to stay neutral. i like to go crazy and put a good amount of lipgloss on my lips.
