Re: Sephora or Ulta
i have never been to a sephora store so i choice of course is for ulta. i like a variety in high and low end. just because it's high end doesn't neccessarily mean it's better. jmo.
i have heard lots of good things about sephora so i'm not knocking them at all. i plan to shop there in the future.

Re: Sephora or Ulta
I love Sephora, that is where I get BE and did anyone know that you can get just about any sample you want from there? Sometimes when I get samples of BE shadows they give me enough for a year! Saves on buying them if you never tried the shades before.

Re: Sephora or Ulta
I'm lucky to live within 5 minutes of both stores. I usually shop at Ulta (or CVS for that matter), and browse and test colors at Sephora, because I can get most of the high end stuff at a discount or for free.

I didn't know this, that's very interesting! And about the San Fran store....Oh my goodness! I sooo want to go there!!!!
I'm lucky to have 2 Sephoras and 2 Ultas in my area...I spend a fair amount of time in each. I tend to get makeup from Sephora and nail polishes and makeup accessories from Ulta...like my train case and other makekup bags. The latter has more sales on that kind of stuff.

Re: Sephora or Ulta
Since I moved away from Pennsylvania, I no longer have either Sephora or Ulta to shop at. So I shop online now. I like both.

Re: Sephora or Ulta
I've never been in either store, usually Walgreens for me... There is an Ulta about a half hour away but they just opened a new Sephora's in the mall accross the street from work and when I can find some time I'd love to go and explore... Looks like a pretty big one too!!
Question... Do they do makeovers there? I could really use some professional pointers.
Thanks
Karren

Re: Sephora or Ulta
I love Sephora! So much choice! It is a little pricey though as they carry more expensive products.
