that's really creepy. i must admit i have a small knife (opinel, think swiss knife) in my bag i only use when i have to eat a sandwich or smthg at uni,which is rare. still, if my life is threatened and i can't run away, guys be warned this girl knows how to use it. and my dad's a cop, lol.

lol the cop idea is a good one! I've had other bad dates.. but those were the worst ones. I once was in a bar sitting by myself because my friend went to the bathroom and I promised I'd mind the table, which was like, a big long sofa along one wall with some tables there. This guy came and sat near me, but not my actual table, and was like, hi. And I tried to ignore him but he started telling me his life story how his ex girlfriend and he were doing some kind of fraud thing but she got off scott free and he went to jail, and that was really bad for him because all these guys wanted to do stuff with him in jail (he actually went into a lot of detail)

And I was like, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS GUY!!! what a freak! luckily my friend came back and we went elsewhere (haha, we ran out of that place so fast!)

yeah that's annoying. sometimes i wish guys were more corteous and use nice sentences just to make the girl accept one drink.

ugh - the worst thing is when you use some lame excuse to get rid of them and they don't go away - one guy stood outside the bathroom for 1/2 an hour, and we had to wait in there all that time for him to leave! it's like, take a hint! haha

This was way back in highschool, I think I was 15 at the time, but I went out with this guy who worked at this game store shop next to subway (where I worked). He was older, like 17 or 18. I knew it was gonna be a bad date from the time I stepped into his car, because he had some "golden oldies" song on, and it was a tape. I was like uuuuh, we're teenagers here, wtf? We went to waffle house where he ordered a big plate of pancakes (with piles of butter and jam on them- this will be revelant later), and grits. He kept talking about weird stuff the whole time...can't remember what exactly but we were totally mismatched, he was like an old man! After that I kept making excuses about how I needed to go home early, but he drove us to this neighborhood park and refused to leave until we checked the swings out. I agreed so he would take me home. While we were sitting there he started talking about how he was obsessed with his ex girlfriend and how if we dated it would basically be to help him get over her. I was like uuh, don't flatter yourself. Then without warning he gave me one of the most horrible open mouthed kisses...you know the really sloppy ones where its like they're trying to eat your face?. Oh and here's the best part, a huge GLOB of buttery jam plopped into my mouth. *shudder*
After that night I obviously didn't want to see him anymore, but he worked right next to me so he was always coming over to say hi and stuff.

pinksugar- I've totally had to "scout" for girls in that situation. lol. One time in the bathroom this girl tapped me on the shoulder like "can you see if that creepy pale guy with the X scar on his forehead is still out there??"

I am trying to think of good ones, I know I have to have them, but cant think of more than these amusing ones. Once, I met a guy at a party, and he got my number, so we went to lunch a couple days later. He was wearing a hat that said "Multiple Orgasm Donor." Yes, in the restaurant too. I wanted to tell him to take it off, but I barely knew him. I didnt see him anymore except run into him at my apartment complex.
Another guy, on our first date, we went out to eat dinner, and the restaurant was pretty full, and the only empty table was next to my parents! So they had to meet him, I could barely eat I was so embarrassed, I had no idea they would be there, and they didnt know we would be at that restaurant.
Scary guy story would be a guy who had just gotten back from Iraq. The more I got to know him, the more I realized he was crazy. He said he was going to go back to Iraq and kill Saddam and make millions of dollars (this was when he was still alive, obviously). He talked about his weapons, and on his tv, the only movie he played was Scarface. All the time, nonstop. I saw him a few times, then not anymore. Then I got a phone call from him, and he had just gotten out of a mental institution.

lol dixieowlf! If it were me I'd be like wow that T-shirt has "immaturity" written all over it. The last story has me feeling sorry for that guy though, as I know a few who I can imagine turning out that way someday.

Here's one about my current boyfriend LOL so it wasn't THAT bad and I'm not one to judge... well, you'll see

I met him and we talked bla bla, I got his number but we never had the chance to hang out until my friend invited me over to watch a movie with some people. He showed up too but had some MAJOR trouble finding her house (it's not that hard to navigate my town). I shortly knew why, as his lids were halfway closed and he was in a slight-happy-smile-daze the whole time!
The guy was on lots of AMBien lol! Maybe he was nervous to hang out with me, who knows. I later learned because of the AMBien induced daze he had accidentally shaved off all his facial hair (not as gross as it sounds). A year later he never remembers that night when I bring it up.
