Aww. I've always gotten free samples (usually blushes and a little brush and this last time eye shadows and a brush). Did you order both blush and eyeshadow? Maybe those are the only samples they give out. Sorry you didn't get the freebies.

Wow, a sample lasts you a month? Are you talking about foundation? How do you see the effect from using so little? If I use too little for foundation, I feel like I look exactly the same as before I put it on.

Hey Dreamzz, I know this thread is about AN and MEOW but I thought I'd ask if you've tried MONAVE...I tried Meow, I got a huge container of Purrfect Puss foundation, the large size is a huge bonus but I found that even with 2 layers it just wasn't enough coverage for me, however with Monave (the creamiest dreamiest...) all I need is literally a few little grains and I can do my whole face...and I only use 1 layer for the most perfect coverage...I'm absolutely addicted to Monave. I've also tried most of the companies out there...I also really liked Lauress' Elemental foundation in Subtle Yellow or Subtle Gold but even that doesn't compare to the coverage and creamy finish of Monave...

I tried both and I think they are similar. Aubrey Nicole doesn't have enough color shades, I couldn't find a match with them. I tried full coverage and it wasn't enough coverage for my blemishes (Lumiere Veena Velvet covered them without much layering). Meow Pampered Puss has very light coverage (almost sheer on me), I had to put on 4 layers just to even out my skin tone (I'm losing my tan in some areas of my face), plus my blemishes were still visible. I am going to try it again without buffing it on my face.

I LOVE Meow's Premiere Puss Primer. It has kept my T-zone oil-free for hours. This is the first product that controls my oil because normally I have to blot my face every hour (super oily due to using cleanser/moisterisers that dry out my skin). I wish they sold a 3oz jar of it! The Top Cat finishing powder is also nice.

Both companies gave generous samples & freebies. I got a free Feliner & blush from Meow and Aubrey Nicole sent me 2 free blushes. Aubrey Nicole gives the largest samples I've seen, my 5g sifters were overflowing with minerals! Meow's sample baggies were almost 20% full.

Meow Naughty Abysinnian has a subtle shimmer to it. I didn't notice it in the bag but I can see it on my face. It doesn't look bad, I love shimmer but I can't fake natural skin with it on. I am going to check if the shimmer is in the other colors.

I think you should try samples from both companies and see which one suits you the best.

Hi Sunny! It's funny you should ask, I just received my Monave samples today! I haven't had a chance to try it yet but I'll be sure to post once I do! I find it pricey and I'm kind of worried about the fact that they use micronized zinc oxide in their concealer-foundation. I have trouble with make-up in the summer because I tend to sweat so the minerals disappear even faster.
