Re: Walmart- Simply Basic Makeup Brushes- anyone bought these?
There seems to be mix reviews on these brushes, lol. The next time I head to Walmart I will buy one. They are reasonably priced so if I don't like them, not like I am losing out on a ton of money. Thanks!

I have them and I can't stand them. They were very stiff and not soft at all. For the money... Target has a set of brushes that are the same price that are a lot nicer.

lol! I have changed my mind. Maybe I will head to Michaels and check out the paint brushes.
Too bad we don't have Target in Canada, they don't ship to Canada. I heard SK brushes are good.

Re: Walmart- Simply Basic Makeup Brushes- anyone bought these?
I have been buying these brushes because they are inexpensive but I've learned the hard way, that in the end, you get what you pay for. They are very cheaply manufactured. I have had them fall apart only days (once straight out of the package) after I first used them. They shed like crazy and just today I was using a new brush and it turned my nose black. That was the last straw. lol I am tired of wasting my money on crap and won't purchase them again. I searched the web to see if they had a website of their own so I could send my complaint to the source but I found nothing. Just thought I'd get it out there! Thanks for listening!

I bought a set for my mom and she really enjoyed them but she also doesn't use advanced makeup techniques.

I used these brushes for years, and nothing like that has ever happened to me. I also bought multiple sets as well.

Re: Walmart- Simply Basic Makeup Brushes- anyone bought these?
Hi,
I've never used these brushes. I do have both high end and inexpensive brushes in my kit. For the inexpensive brushes I use Studio Basics, Upstage, Essense of Beauty and Crown Brushes.

Re: Walmart- Simply Basic Makeup Brushes- anyone bought these?
A little step up from the Simply Basic brushes from WalMart are the Essence of Beauty brushes sold at CVS... I think these brushes are actually quite good. Also Sally Beauty supply has some relatively inexpensive brushes... I really like a foundation brush I got from there
