maybe it's just BE. I've used their stuff before, but I didn't turn orangey, I just looked really yellow-ey lol. And I live in SC where it is hot as hell here!! So maybe it's the heat mixed with that certain type of mmu.

It may be the heat that doesn't mix well with BE. It's been in the 100's here the last few days and the heat is BRUTAL! Until now the heat around here has been pretty mild...relatively.

this happened to me once with ocean mist and it never happened again..odd!

I had this happen with EDM its the main reason I switched to Meow. I would put on my MU in the A.M. & it would match perfect then by mid/late A.M. it was darker & orange.

Don't worry - if they didn't ban me, they certainly won't ban you! You should have seen what I went in there with to return. I too returned the brush (it shed), and all of the BE stuff I purchased (a la carte no less!). I even returned the eyeshadows "Meet the Plums" - every one of them looked the same and every one of them looked like mud! I met them and wasn't impressed , so back they went. My total came to over $200.00 -- the foundation, the finishing veil, the blush, the eyeshadaw, the kabuki brush - oh and I even bought and used once, the eyebrow powder. It didn't work for me. I looked like Groucho Marx - so that went back too.

Since then, I must have dropped about $500.00 in other products I bought from them. I even recently purchased some of the BE eye glimpses and glimmers - and those look really, really nice. I was very impressed that Sephora did take back all of the stuff that I bought and I admit that I shop there a little too often . I think that it's a really great policy that they have in that they do take returns. I think that they may realize that it's to their advantage to do so because they will more than make up for any losses they incur from the returns. I know that in me they have a customer for life! (Not that you could keep me away from Sephora - but at least I don't feel bad if I have to return something - which curiously, I haven't since the BE debacle!

But, I do know how you feel, I also felt a little bit sheepish, but I was also so relieved once I returned it and didn't have to itch and turn orange/yellow anymore! -- BTW - the BE also occasionally made my skin feel very greasy by the end of the day too. Overall, it just didn't work for me.

Yes, I am in love with AN! I ordered four samples, but I've been wearing medium light warm. There's a pic on my user page with me using it. Let me know what you think.

I have reciepts for all the brushes, but not for the MMU (haven't found it yet)...I guess I'll get a store credit. What do you think?

I've also heard of this happening before with BE - in fact since researching MMU I don't think I'll be trying BE at all. Glad Aubrey Nicole worked for you.

Ohappydayes - I wouldn't mind going there with you. I felt funny at first but it more than made up for how I felt once I returned everything. You'll see, worrying about it is worse than actually doing it. I had my sales receipts so I really wanted to take advantage of their return policy. And actually, the sales girls were so very nice and they didn't even ask any questions. I was also happy to get my money back because I was then able to afford the makeup from the online mineral stores whose products work for me. That B.E. stuff was pretty pricey. Not so bad had it worked for me, but since it didn't I was glad to send it back!

P.S. - though the foundation was awful for me - I do like their eyeshadows.

I know, that's exactly what I want...to be able to use the money to buy minerals that actually work on my face. I do want to get the Laura Gellar Spackle or the Smashbox Photo Finish primer...haven't decided which might be better yet with some of it. So that'll use some of it the money I would normally be refunded if I had the receipt. Maybe I'll just return the brushes and keep looking for the receipt for the MMU. I would really like to use that to buy full sizes of the MMU online that work for me.
