Re: Mascara that really works
I've tried Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara, didn't like that.
I have to agree with l'oreal volominious waterproof, I still want to try the non water proof one though. It does hold the curl and separates the lashes nicely.
I REALLY want to try the 2,000 calories but am having trouble finding it. It's good to know Bridget uses it, her eyelashes are always great.

I second the L'oreal Voluminous Waterproof, but it doesn't curl my lashes.

Re: Mascara that really works
If you want really long, really individual eyelashes, L'Oreal Telescopic is fabulous. There is a brush and comkb on the same wand and if you twirl as you apply(easy) you have the longest indiviual lashes ever with no clumps!

Re: Mascara that really works
I'm going to chip in and nominate NYX Doll Eye Long Lash Mascara! I got it yesterday from Aprill (we swapped mascaras), and it's awesome! I tried it over my mascara when I got home, after I took off my eye MU before I washed my face, and this morning. So, you could say I tested it under 3 cir***stances. It didn't do too much IMHO applied over the mascara I'd worn all day (Avon SuperFULL). However, when used alone last night and this morning over lash primer... BAM! Definitely LONG lashes! I might've found my HG mascara! Too damned bad it's not sold by me! It retails for $8 from NYX, I definitely think it's at least worthy of trying out!

Re: Mascara that really works
When my BE big tease mascara ran out I had to buy a cheaper mascara at the drug store, so I bought one of the covergirl types. I can totally notice the damage that it is doing to my lashes, they look a lot thinner and fall out easily! yikes!

Re: Mascara that really works
A lash primer first is a must for me. Any mascara that is not waterproof will flake, or smudge on me.
I use either Dior Show in brown waterproof or Indellible waterproof (I get it thru AL) in chocolate.
BOth are great. Maybelline Great Lash flakes and causes irritation for my sensitive eyes as does so many mascaras.. alas.. tried a bunch too..
For lash primer I have been using a Beauty Control one a friend gave me. It works Great too.
I have been using Malvala (sp) double lash at night to condition lashes and brows. Seems to be working well so far.

Big Tease is a good mascara! I have it, but rarely use it. I really like the consistency, and how it's so easy to take off, yet holds well throughout the day!

My friend sells MK so i tried some of theirs and really liked it... it was very black, went on well..... only two applications needed, and no clumps.

Re: Mascara that really works
Shiseido mascara base does the trick..and YSL faux cils or everlong mascara are my HG. Chanel extreme cils is very good as well. Expensive but worth it in my opinion..
