I might've found my HG mascara! Too damned bad it's not sold by me! It retails for $8 from NYX, I definitely think it's at least worthy of trying out!
Who (store)carries this mascara? The NYX?

Re: Mascara that really works

Hello! I have also been seeking for a HG mascara. I have been researching online and I heard that Shiseido's mascara base is really good. I haven't tried it yet, but I am wondering if anyone has used it before.

Re: Mascara that really works

Maybelline Full 'N Soft Mascara is my absolute favorite mascara, and I've tried tons of different brands and types. Not only does it work great for me but it's cheap!!!

Here's a picture of my lashes wearing Maybelline Full 'N Soft Mascara in Brownish Black...

Thank you proudmommy2. I took this picture a while ago but I'm pretty sure I was wearing LipFusion Color shine gloss. The color is Kiss.

Re: Mascara that really works

try using shiseido's mascara base. i've also heard good reviews for: l'oreal voluminous, diorshow blackout/waterproof, max factor 2000 calorie/volume couture, and imju fiberwig.

Re: Mascara that really works

I've been recently surprised by a Rimmel mascara, i guess it's named something like Extravagganza, that I bought only... 2 euros ($2,73) ! Otherwise, I really really like the Lancôme Hypnôse, hard to work but great, for bigger occasions.

Re: Mascara that really works

i think what makes the difference is thw primer before mascara!

and the curler too!!!!

the best for me is dior show but i find it expensive so i use loreal's mascara which has a primer together with the mascara!

Re: Mascara that really works

My favorite is Maybelline Lash Stylist. It takes some time to get the hang of it, but it's like $6 and it makes your lashes SO THICK without being clumpy. And you only need to do 1 coat. It doesn't particulary make your lashes longer though, so it's more for people looking for volume.
Also, I tried Rimmel Extra Super Lash lately because it's only $2, and it's quite good! It definitely makes my lashes longer and thicker, it's not clumpy, and it doesn't make your lashes feel hard/crunchy. My only issue with it is that you have to do 2 or 3 coats, which is time-consuming.

I've never tried it that way, but I read reviews before buying and someone said that they use it as a primer. I'f you try it as a primer, please let me know how it works out!
