Re: Mascara that really works

my favourite mascara is clinique high definition lashes... it has a double sided brush and you dont have sticky lashes altough it makes every lash pretty long

Re: Mascara that really works

I like Max Factor 2000 Calorie
Loreal HIP Mascara (makes my eyelashes super long and thick)
Maybelline Full and Soft

Where do you find Castor Oil or Jojoba Oil?

Re: Mascara that really works

dunno if this is already available in the US -- Fasio. I believe its also by Kose (A Japanese manufacturer), the makers of Awake. Well, their mascara really delivers. Way better than MAybelline's or Max Factor which both smudged, flaked and gave me raccoon eyes after a few hours of wearing. Fasio's really stays put even in the most hot and humid weather! The only downside is that its hard to remove. You need a really good eye makeup remover like Loreals.

Re: Mascara that really works

Yup Fasio Try it out, its quite cheap too. The curl+volume formula makes my lashes look really thick, almost like falsies thick! The best part is that it doesnt smudge n flake. I haven't heard of KATE here. Is that a Malaysian brand?

Re: Mascara that really works

Try castor oil on your eyelashes, that makes them longer and darker. Just remember:
* Do not apply mascara over the oil. So maybe you should apply the oil before going to bed.
* Try not to get the oil into th eyes. Use a q-tip. and concentrate on the tps of the lashes.

Re: Mascara that really works

Since no one else has mentioned it yet, I'm thrilled with my recent Sephora purchase of the new Microquatic Black Widow Mascara from Sue Devitt. It's not waterproof (so I can remove it without using an oily eye makeup remover), it's richly pigmented (makes my lashes a deep, velvety black), it doesn't clump, doesn't flake, doesn't give me raccoon eyes by the end of the day, and doesn't irritate my very sensitive eyes. The formula is supposed to be "conditioning" and "hydrating." I'm not big on marketing hyperbole, but this mascara definitely leaves my lashes soft and flexible instead of stiff.

Love, love, love this new mascara!
