Not so much now that I have moved. When I lived on the south-side I was a bit. I had an outside entrance and the door was flimsy. Plus I found out after I moved that the half-way house, homeless shelter, lots of
sex offenders, and a rehab facility were less than a mile away. For the most part it didn't bother me but when I came home at 1 am and an inmate had escaped that day it freaked me out a bit and I walked incredibly fast from my car to the door.
Now that I moved it isn't so bad. I live in a good area which the cops patrol fairly well. I live by 3 schools so no
sex offenders and it is mostly rich people. But I am still cautious and don't leave my doors unlocked when I am gone or go for a walk at night. There have been too many attacks on walkers and joggers lately. We have had 3 attacks on women standing outside their apartment between 1-3
pm on the weekends.
I don't like walking in the dark though in the apartment. I have to have one light on at all times when I am awake.
