The first thing that comes to mind is that Harley Davidson commercial … anyone seen it?
It’s an evil version of Santa on his sled being pulled with Harley’s with a naughty list in hand.
Gotta love how product branding makes you think of things sometimes lol

I knew very well that the rules state that any entries that have been photoshopped can't be taken into account or voted for at all, and not all the past winners have necessarily photoshopped their entries either so the reason why a lot of people wont participate on the dtb isnt that.
I hope i can see more entries because i havent seen a lot of participation lately, and there are a lot of ppl that are very talented around here with good makeup skills.

Re: Dare To Be - No Gifts for Naughty Girls! (December 15th - 28th)
I can see why people would get upset with people winning because some people photoshopped their photos, but then again, let's not take credit away from people who won because of their makeup skills and not speculate that they won because their work was photoshopped. Have we ever stopped to think that maybe some people are not participating anymore because of all the drama and speculation? Maybe some people are not participating because they don't want the drama of people thinking their photos are photoshopped? Just my two cents.

La C, I am in complete agreement. I also don't think it is fair to make comments about past entries when a. the rules about photo shopping was less strict and b. when those persons involved are no longer using the site, and thus unable to defend themselves against such insinuations.
let's all agree that photoshopping in order to win is wrong, whatever happened in the past, and move on.

I totally totally agree. There has been wayyyy too much drama in DTB's and too many excuses, and too much fingerpointing. It is supposed to be fun, and the negativity of others makes it so that you dont even want to post. So please people, stop pointing fingers, assuming makes and ass of you and me. Yourself cause blaming and accusing someone, you could be wrong, and me (speaking collectively for all mods, especially Shaundra), cause we are the ones that have to contact members and say "Oh I think this is photoshopped". I am not a digital expert, but somethings are obvious and some are not. There is no happy medium.

Please, no drama regarding past D2B's. I'm sure there are multiple reasons why people might be hesitant to enter. And as I mentioned before, the rules in the D2B challenges have progressively changed to become more strict against photoshopping.
Please everyone focus on the current challenge.

I also agree Stereo. We should focus on the now instead of the past. Or atleast let this be left for the general discussion area.
Sorry you guys.

Just so you know, if you plan on doing future dtb's. Sometimes you'll be suprised what you can come up with from what you have. Just be creative, peices of plastic, glitter, Candy lol. Anything can be made into artwork. And next time you walk into a dollar store or beauty supply. Pick up something sparkly, or the most insane color eyeliner that you would NEVER wear, and it just might come in handy!
