Re: What do you think about Lumiere?

I started this thread. Last week, I received my order with the medium-sized Luminesse in Light Medium Golden, and a sample jar of the medium golden in the flawless formula. The first one was a really good match for my untanned skin, and I am quite happy with it, but at the present, I have rediscovered my GloMinerals stuff, so the Lumiere just sits on the shelf.

But I know myself well enough to know that that might change, and that it's just a matter of time before that happens.

Re: What do you think about Lumiere?

A little late in chiming in, but I love Lumiere! I have also read about some bad reviews here regarding CS, slow shipping, etc... but really I agree with this thread that everyone should give Lumiere a try themselves! I love everything I have from them! The FF foundation is my HG, they have beautiful long lasting true to their color blushes, their radiances give such a nice healthy glow, and their finishing powders are some of the most finely milled around. Oh, don't let me forget about the brushes. I have nearly all of their synthetic brushes and I love them all. They don't shed and are super soft. I have not had a problem with their CS and it is true shipping isn't as fast as a few others, but it is understandable to me because they are growing and they really have such high quality products.

Re: What do you think about Lumiere?

Ok, you guys convinced me to try Lumiere again. Any color suggestions? I'm currently using light olive at everyday minerals in original glo or semi matte

Re: What do you think about Lumiere?

I've tried Lumiere Luminesse and Veena Velvet in Medium Golden. Luminesse was too sheer for me, it didn't cover my blemishes. Whereas, Veena Velvet has more coverage which I loved. If I was to buy full size, I would go with Veena Velvet. The other formulas have silk, so be careful!

Alicia--thanks for sharing your pic. Your skin looks beautiful and the color match looks fine to me.

My last order from lumiere was lost and i don't think i would order from them again using first class option because they don't guarantee that your shipment arrives, which sucks. This happened before they made the policy change official on their website regarding lost packages. It was for an item that was less than $5 so i never bothered to contest it but apparently, it didn't matter since those who contacted lumiere were not sent replacement orders. if i were to order in the future, i would definitely choose the priority mail option.

Re: What do you think about Lumiere?

I LOVE LUMIERE! I have been using it just over a year and my skin loves me again. I use the Flawless Face formula in 'Medium Beige 2.3' - perfect shade. Just a tad darker than light medium beige formula. Just be careful - the shades are slightly different in each formula. Flawless Face is great for my little dry spots as it is slightly moisturizing. I have tried all the formulas now and I love flawless face! I wasn't terribly impressed with the blushes/radiances but thats just me. They also have great brushes - I couldn't live with out the Kabuki (I am about to sell my MAC 182 even!). With that said Kim, the founder of Lumiere is one nice lady and is all about great customer service.

Actually it is. For some reason it isn't listed on their foundation shade page but if you go to 'specials' (the go to foundation specials) on the Lumiere page and scroll down and pick shades - it's there. Great deal by the way... *2* 12 gram jars for $30.

Simi are you on Lumiere addicts ? I think I recognize you from there!

Re: What do you think about Lumiere?

I tried four different formulas in Lumiere, and three of them made my skin very upset.
I did not like the finishes, either.
But,i love their blushes. They are very pretty. I escpesially love Wild rose and Ditto O.
