Re: Reviews for Minimalist Mineral Foundation from LaurEss??

This is a great, great foundation. Probably my HG - but I guess that is too early to say, my first full size is still on its way...

LaurEss foundation colour selection is among the best, and yes, the shades are really good. Minimalist has a great matte but kind of porcelain-like, photogenic finish that lasts and lasts. I does good job disguising pores and does not emphasize fine lines.

There is absolutely not that leathery look of skin on the end of the day like with some MMU.

It feels really good on my combination skin: does not itch in the dry areas and does not shine where the skin is oilier.

Minimalist is extremely easy to apply, it just seems to melt into skin. No buffing needed here. Coverage is really buildable - allthough I don't like the look of heavy MMU application, even with this lovely product.

Definitely one product to try.

Completely agree....this MMU is fabulous! I've tried over a dozen and this one is the one I use. The color is good, light feel, covers but not heavy, cakey. It doesn't make me itchy or break me out. I don't have to work too hard to have it meld into my skin. I use it with a flat top brush mostly (sometimes I use the kabuki). I need so little. Highly recommend!

Re: Reviews for Minimalist Mineral Foundation from LaurEss??

I totally agree with you guys. This is the BEST mineral foundation I have ever used. I think it's b/c Lauren uses premium ingredients and keeps the ingredients simple too. Just looking at my samples of the foundations the texture is so smooth, like flour. Even when I apply an extra layer, this stuff does not cake or sink into any fine lines. Doesn't get all streaky either. My forehead never gets "greasy" like it does with all the other mmu companies I have tried. The colors are "flesh" colors, not orangey.

I know some girls here on the forum and elsewhere have "balked" about the price. IMHO, you get what you pay for. And I'd rather be totally satisfied with a foundation that performs as a premium, just by itself, then to go somewhere else where I have to buy this concealer, and something else for oil b/c the foundation makes me oily, then buy such and such to counteract this and that.

Well it depends on our skin type. The website says that the "minimalist" gives more coverage.

Re: Reviews for Minimalist Mineral Foundation from LaurEss??

nobody mentions their ethereal formula yet, so I am wondering how is it compared to the other 2 formula
-------------
I'm using EDM golden medium and Signature mineral 4.0, anyone here has a suggestion on which shades I should sample on?

The ethereal formula hasn't been released yet.

Re: Reviews for Minimalist Mineral Foundation from LaurEss??

I just love minimalist foundation. It's best foundation i've ever used. I ordered some samples even that I had my HG and totally fell in love.

The next time I order full size it will be Lauress minimalist.
