Re: Alima Rave
I just got some Alima samples yesterday too! I loved the packaging. How cute!
I also ordered one of their brushes the #25 foundation brush. It feels amazing! I thought I had found the best brushes out there when I got the EDM flat top and LHK, but this one tops both! I love that it's a cross between a flat top and a kabuki, and it much more dense than either of EDM's. I just found a new favorite. Sure its more expensive....but its such good quality.
Plus I love the free samples that were included! I got a few e/s, and I would have never even bothered to try Alima's e/s otherwise. Now I might just have to sample more!

Re: Alima Rave
wowww alima rocks...
I went to a shop the one and only in singapore to sell alima mineral foundation, which some of you recommended It was great. I used the primer, two mix foundation and the balancer and my face was glowy.....I liked it very much. It stayed on for long until i got back home to have my face cleaned up. I was overjoyed and wanted to share this with you guys. Let me see how it goes for a few days before I get the full packaging.
I gave up hope on Cory's and Pure Luxe even though they amazing but was not kind to my skin. Definetly Alima Rocks.

Re: Alima Rave
I am glad you got to go try Alima and that is works for you too! The shop is really nice and the owner really knows what she is doing when suggesting the makeup. I have tried some of the eyeshadows and liner samples too and they are all excellent!! P.S. the facials there are superb!

Hi thks...but the owner was not there. The SA helped me out and she was nice though. I was glad that this brand worked for me. The heat in singapore is so intense now that I perspire alot more on my face and to apply the foundation takes time. Huh!!!

Re: Alima Rave
I just got my Alima Goddess Collection and I l-o-v-e it! Everything I have ordered from Alima has worked well with me, they have the most perfect browcolour (Ash) that will make my brows look natural and visible.

Hi ley,
you should try alima. The foundation are very smooth when applied to the face. It looks grainy but when you use the kabuki brush on it, it dissolves quickly like smooth powder, in my opinion.
Let us know how it goes with you.

Re: Alima Rave
My next samples will be from Alima. Their website is nice.. much nicer than for example Lumiere's. But prices all in all are more expensive.

I've finally been trying my Alima samples and I'm finding that the finish is more powdery than Meow's Pampurred Puss, but it also lasts all day, which is not the case with the Meow. My skin is very dry right now because of my sunscreen, though, so I'm not giving up on Alima.
I sampled both Warm and Beige, and I surprisingly got a match in Beige 2 (I have warm, peachy skin--I wear Frisky Chartreux in Meow). The Warm was too yellow for me.
I really like their blushes. Nice colors, easy to blend, pigmented enough to last all day without staining your cheeks. Will most likely be ordering f/s.

Re: Alima Rave
Have you already tried Alima Foundations ???? I have it. Alima is one of popular MMU companies in Japan altho MMU itself is not so popular yet. Yes, Alima's foundation have more yellow, yellower than pic on the web, I agree. I saw some comment that Alima's golden is too yellow and I tried Warm and Beige. These looks close at the first grance. But, Beige has a little more pink, I think. W1-2 are my main color and I put some Beige 1-2 in there sometimes. They are better at covering the pours...
And, I love their WEB site - good design and easy to choose... Please visit ALIMA once !!!
