I'm going to get a little ziplock baggie and put the powder in it, and send it back empty. They said, "even if it's empty" . Is that bad? OOps.

OK Thanks for replying.
ooooo that does sound shady. i would definately send it back empty.

Champagne & Soft brown sound pretty!

I tried the Khaki and Driftwood together and I loved it. I have brown eyes. The staying power of their e/s is the best yet... and no "creasy".

I think we have the same skin tone. I can use 9.0, 10.0 and 11.0...even 12, I think! I love love love Signature. It feels so creamy on the skin. I have the Multi-tasking concealer as well, but I have not used it yet. Some of their blushes have the same names as Monave's.

Re: Signature Minerals? Anyone try?

I recently ordered some samples from Signature Minerals, and I'm eager to see whether they're any good. I have dryish skin and like a certain glow and sheer coverage, but BE has a tendency to accentuate my normally non-existent pores, plus makes me itch and burn if I wear it more than a couple of days in a row.

Re: Signature Minerals? Anyone try?

Nemi,i think you will love it then...
I have dry skin too,and SM is the least drying mineral foundation i have tried until now. It feels very creamy to me.
It is also the only mmu that did not make my pores look bigger, and it did not make my (very) fine lines look like wrinkles, either. That have been a problem for me,i almost stopped using mineral foundation b/c of it.
And i also use it just to even out my skintone,im not after heavy coverage.
Good luck with your samples!
(i hope you ordered one of the new glow powder)

Re: Signature Minerals? Anyone try?

Stupid me, I only tried out their e/s colors and 1 blush. I love the colors, though - their Terre Dark is the perfect eyeliner for me, and I adore all their metallics! (I lined my eyes with metallic emerald and copper today - I look fabulous! LOL!)
So I think I will be sampling some foundations and powders when I order my full-size e/s.

Re: Signature Minerals? Anyone try?

I love Signature Minerals, as their 2.3 is my foundation HG! Haven't found a blush yet that I would call HG, have a few more samples of those to try but I am very happy with the smoothness and quality of their product. Very impressed with Stacey in CS, too.

Their palest pink blush I actually use as a brightener for my dark circles. I can't imagine it being a blush for even an ivory but as an eye brightener it is fantastic!!! Was disappointed by the soft sunshine concealer though that palest pink does a fine job instead

And I just ordered their lucsious synthetic flat top and can't wait to try it out.

Re: Signature Minerals? Anyone try?

I got my samples yesterday, and none are quite right. They actually seem lighter than on the website. I got 5.3, 6.0 and 7.0, and of the three, the 6.0 is probably the best, though I'm afraid it has too much red in it. The 5.3 is much lighter than expected, but has the right undertone, and 7.0 is plain wrong.

In addition, I got the Goddess bronzer, which was also waay!!! too light, the pink jazz shimmery blush, which I love, and the Angel Wings finishing powder, which seems OK.

I'll have to test them all on a full face, which I'll probably do this weekend.

I just received samples yesterday and I am very pleased. The colors are brilliant and very pigmented! I can't wait to try.

Nemi, yes you have to try them on.
They look very light, but darkens on the skin within an hour or so.
Remember,i thought 5.3 would be perfect for me. But now i use a mix of Porcelaine,Ivory and Light.
And i think the Goddess bronzer is for very pale people,im fair and it doesnt show up on me at all.

Re: Signature Minerals? Anyone try?

For 'budget' brands, Signature is way, way better than EDM.

And as an uber-pale person, Goddess is indeed my HG bronzer - I've never found anything else that comes close (they have a lighter shade bronzer, but that was too pale even for me). I really love their Goat's Milk soaps, too - the real deal, handmade and super-fatted.

To add to what Gavrie said - I think it is way WAY easier to find your foundation match in Signature than EM too.
The bad things about Signature (for me) are that the foundation is kind of light coverage to me. I also wasn't too excited with their e/s (nothing bad - just nothing "special.") I find Signature's shipping to be expensive too. Maybe it isn't as expensive as I think - but it seems like every time I buy something I'm kind of appalled by how much the shipping is.........
