Re: RAVE: Revlon - 3D Extreme Mascara

I bought a 2-pack of the 3D waterproof type and thought I really got a deal. It came out with big gobs of mascara goo all over the brush everytime I used it. It was too messy and too much trouble so I threw it away.

I was previously using waterproof Lash Discovery which also has a very tiny brush. That's some good stuff and was my favorite for years but the tube seemed to dry out in 3 weeks so I went back to my other fav, 2000 Calorie mascara (waterproof).

Re: RAVE: Revlon - 3D Extreme Mascara

Sounds wonderful! IŽm such a mascara junkie, IŽll have to buy this now...but the store that sells Revlon in Vienna stopped carrying it. So IŽll have to find a different store

CanŽt wait to see your pics, Celly!

I need to give this a shot. I usually avoid revlons mascara as most of them are pretty useless

I cannot stand Revlon mascaras. Worst I have ever tried and I am a big fan of Revlon in general.

Re: RAVE: Revlon - 3D Extreme Mascara

I bought this yesterday and posted a pic of me on the FOTD section http://www.makeuptalk.com/forums/f58...may-79486.html

Its very thick/dry and it does make the lashes thicker, it went on well on my first eye and on the 2nd eye it clumped badly and I had to comb the globs out. I'm undecided on this, I think prefer regular mascara, I'll have to give it a few more goes.

Re: RAVE: Revlon - 3D Extreme Mascara

I bought this but you really need to do a tutorial on this celly!! I thinks its freakin awesome and it does a better job than Diorshow!!! I can see why plenty of ppl don't like it but for me this was one of the best. The only thing I really didn't like was the fact that it does clump if you're not careful so I have to use a comb afterwards everytime.

I didn't get a stiff spidery effect that everyone else did. Mine literally look plush and full and do look like false lashes!! Yay!

I bought this mascara 1 week ago I did not like it but I'm going to give it another change and mess with it. Maybe I will like it.

Re: RAVE: Revlon - 3D Extreme Mascara

So after reading Celly Cells post I went out and bought this (all her other tips have never failed me) and GUESS WHAT

THIS STUFF IS THE SHIZ-NIT!!!
I looked like I was wearing Faux lashes! I was tripping out to see the result when the tiny little brush looked like crap...but then, maybe thats what all mascaras have been doing wrong, making the brushes to big where is doesnt hold much mascara, cuz this thing deposits and delivers fulleness to my lashes which are on the thin side, and it lenghthens like its nobady's business...okay that last line sounded cheesy but seriously, I LOVED LOVED LOVED IT! May just be the next DIorshow....my lashes looked so fake!
BUt Caution! I can see why many girl got clumpy lashes, the small brush comes up loaded with mascara and its easy to overdo...my trick was
WIGGLE WIGGLE WIGGLE the brush on the way up, wiggle at the root and work your way up so you are seperating as well as giving crazy lenght to the lashes.
This stuff is awesome....my search is overTHank you Celly!!!

Re: RAVE: Revlon - 3D Extreme Mascara

Celly, I followed your advice. I've been using it for a week or 2 now, and I love it. I am yet to have a problem with clumping, and I love how my lashes are soft when I wear it.
