The ingredients lists of those drugstore brands look like paragraphs. :P Totally negates the whole purpose of mineral makeup. But then if you're going to compare them to BE... well, I think BE is junk, too. The smaller online mineral makeup companies are your best bet and best quality.

I've tried a few, but I just can't stand the packaging for most of them. I did use Physician's Formula Mineral Wear pressed for a long time and loved it, so if you do buy from the DS I would suggest that one. I would pass on Jane, Neutrogena, and Revlon.

I've always read conflicting reviews depending on where they come from. Some loved Revlon, Loreal, and Maybelline and others who frequent online smaller mmu companies for the most part felt that they were junk

I had a chance by necessity to try a few and they actually performed as well to my eye as the best of other more pure mineral makeup brands that I've used. Granted I don't have sensitive skin, it hasn't been a long term usage thing, and quite honestly I am excited to be receiving my replenishing orders from online smaller more "pure" mineral companies, I likely won't be a loyal patron to drugstore lines but from my experience with Revlon, Loreal, and Maybelline - they performed and looked good with no negatives associated.

I've never tried the drugstore MMU. I do use Everyday Minerals foundation and powders though, and I love them. And they about half the price of BE.
