Does she like to read book? or writing? You can get her a journal if that's her interest with a few books to go along.
How about cooking for her? Does she likes wine or a special kind of beverage?

Wine will def be there but I think my brother already took that option. HOWEVER! I'm now deciding whether to take her out to red lobster (she likes seafood) or make a seafood stew (cioppino?) for her but I'm am no cook.. so I don't want to ruin dinner. But I'm not stupid either, lol I can follow instructions and basic cooking stuff it's just things can always go wrong right? Then again, it's a stew, so you pretty much throw most of the stuff in and just time it. Any ideas which I should do? They both are gonna cost a lot.

The pedicure sounds really good. Is there anything your mom has been eyeing lately? Last time I took my mom out, i bought her a perfume she'd been looking at for a while now, took her out to the salon to get a new cut and blow out, then we went to the movies and grabbed a bite to eat at a nice casual restaurant. I'd never done it before but she absolutely loved everything. She did let me know that she appreciated the day together more than anything.
