Where there's smoke there's fire. lol. Palin's husband's DUI was 20 years ago and people are making a huge deal about it, yet no one cares about Obama's past illegal drug/alcohol use? And Obama's the one running for President...not Palin's husband.

I, like everyone else, heard that Bush junior did drugs and had a drinking problem, before he was elected to office.
I'm sure that Pallin's husband's DUI is the least of the Republican party's worries.

You're right. And Palin's husband's DUI should be the least of the Republican party's worries, but people are making a huge deal out of that and her daughter's pregnancy.

It wasn't that long ago that candidates used to beat each other up over the drug use thing. Remember when candidates used to challenge each other to a piss test to prove they're clean and if you didn't want to do it they would try and claim you were dirty? Thank goodness that is over. But the bottom line is most people get a pass for what they did when they were young. I don't think that's such a bad thing.

Frankly i heard McCain on the news about 4 times today, talking up Palin. "we picked the most popular governor"

what is this BS, since when are trying to run for 5th Grade Student Council. This is the presidency we are talking about and the vice presidency and experience and qualification is what you are supposed to be touting! How can you criticize Obama for the cult of personality and then turn around and say this. Cmon John I am very disappointed.
