Living in DC you never get a chance to really get away from politics. I will be happy the elections will be over but I am scared to how it will be after the elections. EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE is stepping up their security in the area especially all federal and local agencies.

I will be so happy when this stuff is over! I'm so tired of the political ads on TV and the junk mail and phone calls. I'll also be happy to see which candidate wins so that maybe everyone will calm down. Although, I have been told that some department people here will take 2 weeks off if a certain candidate gets elected because of the reaction of one of the people in the department is guaranteed to be especially unpleasant. I kind of dread that.

In many ways I'm glad I'm studying overseas during this election season. I am already putting up with so much political drama and info being thrown at me left and right; I can't imagine what it's like in the States!!

I'll be happy with Digg and Reddit stop having political posts being every other submission x.x
