my mum doesn't wear makeup really either.. i don't think she ever has done. she's supportive of me wearing it and always compliments me if ive made an effort with my eyeshadow or done something a bit crazy but she doesn't get why i'll happily spend £15 on nail polish! she just tuts though, never really interferes. i think she's getting more used to it.

My mom hardly wears makeup too, she keeps it for special occasions. When she does, it's still low maintenance, lipstick, blush, black eyeliner and mascara, and even more rarely foundation.

At first she wasn't really enthusiastic about her daughter wearing makeup, now she wonders why i have to put so much on and why do i have to own so many eyeshadows. Yet she still complains i'm not girly enough.

my mom blames my dad for my feisty behavior on the fact that he "let" me color my hair and wear makeup when i was like... 14 or something.
hah.
but she still asks me to do hers sometimes
i'be pretty much never been restricted from whatever hair or makeup i want.
