The holiday party madness will be here before you know it and you better be prepared! There isn’t anything worse than letting an important event creep up on you, and being stuck frantically running around for an outfit the day of is difficult. I must admit…I am THE queen of procrastination, so this year I am doing my shopping early. We all want to look nothing less than fabulous, so here are some options that will put your holiday sparkle in full swing!
My first choice for Holiday party attire is Zara’s V-Back Dress! Glitter is the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear holiday party, and this dress has plenty of it! This is one of those pieces that completes the whole outfit in itself. I would maybe a add a simple cocktail ring, but other than that some patent pumps would be it! The long sleeves will keep you from getting too cold in the winter weather and all eyes will definitely be on you! Unfortunately, this dress would probably look better on a tall, slender figure because it has no waistline and it isn’t on the forgiving side. I don’t even think I would actually end up wearing this one myself. It’s more of a “if I went to the gym and lost 15 pounds” fantasy option!
I always think it is important to throw in a budget friendly option, so this is the Forever21 Sequined Sweetheart Dress in Peach. You might want to go take a look at this one in person because the picture doesn’t really show it’s detail. It is a light pinky peach strapless dress with little silver sequins sewn on it. This would be a better option for sparkle if you don’t want to stand out too much. It’s very feminine and girly, a dress you could never really go wrong with. They have added a cute leopard skinny belt around the waist, but I would maybe just use a solid black one. Again, this dress has a lot going on, so I would leave my hair wavy and wear a simple pair of pumps. Oh, and the best part, it’s only $27!
This is a much more festive dress option. I love the style of this dress, very Audrey Hepburn. Anyway, it is the BB Dakota Clarissa Jacquard Dress. The gorgeous plum color is accented with silver and black abstract flowers. You could really glam up this dress for a fancy event, but I would happily wear it to an informal get together. It would flatter almost anyone’s body type, and would move comfortably with all of you busy social butterflies. I get so excited just looking at the picture! Nothing like a fabulous fifties-inspired party dress!
This Aqua Pleated Chiffon Dress is much more simple compared to the previous choices. It is an awesome cherry red that is so festive! The flowing fabric is beautiful and the simple tie belt will slim your waist down to nothing. I would probably recommend wearing a shawl with this to keep warm on the journey to the party itself, but shedding it once you get there would be completely fine. Pull up some black tights and slip into some sparkly heels…now you’re good to go! Dance your heart out in this super fun frock!
All these dresses have me ready to prance right into the holidays and not even take one look back. I just love getting all dolled up for parties. What type of dress will you wear this year? Hurry, ladies! You better get holiday ready!
