Shell is a subtle rosy mauve with just a hint of shimmer. Its very sheer so I always apply it wet which gives me beautiful results. Even though it lacks the pigmentation most other Stila shadows have, its still very beautiful in its own right. I never have a problem with any of my Stila shadows creasing and this one is no different. When used with a stark white highlighter on browbones, Shell stands out beautifully while complimenting my green eyes. It isn't my absolute favorite Stila shadow, but I'll repurchase it.
