Bought "Star Secrets" lipstick in "Penelope's Red" ... ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS RED that is TRULY RED not pink! I had the hardest time finding a red lipstick that did not turn pink on my skin... this is the best drug-store brand that worked!
I
do like the how even though it's a matte lipstick, it still seems to
have some lustre to it, it's not flat and dry looking like the
old-world lipsticks of yesteryear.
The color is excellent for me, and I would recommend for any golden toned woman, light or dark. Gorgeous medium cinnamon color that can be use lightly with lipgloss to get a perfect nude lip!
Pros:Wears very well for a long time without drying out! Goes on smooth. Cons:I could tell they tried to scent it, but the smell is mildly off-putting.

The color is slightly strong for my taste, but I would recommend for any golden toned woman (light or dark) who does enjoy a warm brown lipstick. For me, it is too strong to use as a nude lipstick, so that's why I don't favor it, but the shade itself is nice.

The color is excellent for me, and I would recommend for any golden toned woman, light or dark. It's a beautiful, rich neutral red color.

The color is does not do much for me, and I would not recommend it for any golden toned woman my shade or darker.
Pros:Goes on smooth. Retains moisture in the lips extremely well. Cons:The smell is mildly off-putting. Does not compliment dark skin.
Super Lustrous Lipstick in: Limited Edition Coral Glow
It's got a nice shimmer to it. It does keep the lips moist.
The color does not work for me, and I would not recommend this shade for any golden toned woman my shade or darker. I think it would look excellent on fair, light and medium tones though. It's simply not a bold enough coral color for my taste.
Pros:Goes on smoothly. Works well with light and medium skin tones. Cons:Smell is mildly off-putting. Not so good on dark skin tones.

Pros:It applies nicely, and does help to maintain moisture in the lips. Cons:The smell is mildly off-putting.
It is kind of a cool concept for lipwear. I could see a lot of women liking this, and it the sheerness of color looks excellent when topped with a high quality gloss.
The problem is that on it's own, it does not perform on the lips like you would want it to. The color tends to migrate and leave your lips bare at some parts, but over-saturated in another. You could get the same effect with a lip stain actually, and with less trouble.
Pros:Vibrant Color, goes on smooth Cons:Result does not stay consistent throughout the duration of wear.
This is my favorite brown lipstick. It actually is a dark brown, bronzy brown that goes on great. It has just the right amount of shimmer to it without it being over powering. I've worn this color for years because it has never let me down.
The color itself was very pretty to look at in the tube. Don't be fooled, this doesn't show like any "wine" color that I have ever seen though. It almost more of a subdued magenta color in the tube, and it goes on even brighter on the lips.
The application was soft and smooth, the color was fairly even. But for as much as the name says, the color isn't so much rich as it is "flat". It doesn't have a shine to it, or even a faint luster. In fact the only dimension this lipstick gives, is from the natural moisture is sucks straight off your lips.
I find this works better if I use it as a faint "stain" and put lip gloss over it. Then it's just gorgeous. Otherwise, I would never wear it as is straight from the tube by itself.
It smelled really nice though.
Pros:Application was very smooth. It smells wonderful. Cons:It can be drying at times.
The color is nothing really special on me... it was kind of "cold and dark" looking. It made my lips look dead in an almost bluish way. Only when I diluted the color with another base lipstick or lip gloss underneath did the I finally see a nice bright berry color.
I know it is supposed to be a pearly lipstick, but should I be concerned if I can feel the grit scratching my lips as I put it on? And if my lips weren't already dry before I put it on, they became so very quickly.
In essence, even for dark skinned women, this is a hard color to wear well.
Pros:The tube looks really nice... Cons:Texture was a definite thumbs down for me.
Tends to be drying.
Not a very soft application.
I LOVE these, i have thin lips and i need color or i look washed out. These solve that problem for the entire day and night.
I like lots of the long lasting liquid lipsticks, but as the name says, these are "sheer". My favorite lip fake out is to wear this in Mocha. That color on me looks like i have natural beautiful pigment to my lips and it makes them look fuller, not a painted on look.
I also like the plum and the rosette is okay too. The glosses that come on the other side have coordinating glitter in them, so for the natural look, i just switch that part out with a clear one from one of my other non sheers. By the way, i like the glitter gloss over the more opaque painted like liquid lip colors, both for revlon and other brands.
Pros:sheer but still gives color, last till you take it off, well worth the money Cons:limited colors avail in the sheers
i think revlon's colorstay lipcolor is the very best lipstick there is. i've used sienna, russet, sand and a few others. its simply great especially for a person like me who doesn't like sticky stuff on her lips. and as everyone said it is LOOONG weaing... it never dried out my lips (my lips dry out very easily) when i wear it, it even stops my lips from drying.
Pros:you don't even feel ur wearing lipstick Cons:they've stopped distributing it in Pakistan ... where i live :(
This seems to be a common thread, but I'm confused by the previous review. This is supposed to be for Colorstay lipstick, but she's describing the gloss...
Anyway, in regards to the gloss she was referring to, I'm hooked on th Zinfindel color. (and it is the only color I would repurchase) Its a golden rose that is soo pretty. My tube was clear, so I must have an earlier or later version than she does. I have a grapey color that really is long lasting, but can look overly dry at times.

I'm a huge fan of the Super Lustrous line, but this color does absolutely nothing for my skin. It's a very cool pinkish red, very bright. For some reason it just makes me look like I'm coming down with a disease, maybe I'm not meant for something with this much of a blueish base.
The product line itself is wonderful. Very creamy lipsticks with good staying power.
Pros:Good lipstick line, texture and wearability wise. Cons:Looks horrible on my skin tone.
This is my absolute favorite shade of Revlon Super Lustrous. It's a very deep mauve shade with just a hint of brown. It's very neutral, but intense and dramatic. It's very similar in color to Mary Kay's Suede. This is my old standby favorite shade for day and night. This whole line is rich and creamy with such a wonderful texture. I'll keep buying this one over and over until they discontue it!
I think the name of this color says it all. It's a lovely wine color that is neutral enough to go with every look and skintone. It's a very rich and deep color, perfect for an evening out. Rich and creamy, stays on all day. This is one of my favorites.
Pros:Gorgeous neutral color. Creamy and moisturizing. Cons:
This is a great cool medium/dark red, with a bit of a fushia undertone. It is a beautiful shade, but is very intense. Works well for that classic movie star look, with bright lips and black liner.
Creamy, moisture rich texture, with staying power.
Pros:Creamy, moisturizing, beautiful deep red. Cons:
