I bought this in a whim and decided to give it a go.
I personally love the short wand because it grabs every lashes, even the ones in the corner.
It gives volume, but it doesn't give a whole lot of length. Folks complain about clumping or whatever - but clumping occurs when there's too much product on or rushing through application.
Other than that - it's one of favorite mascara and it gives the illusion of false lashes.
Pros:Short wand Cons:has a weird bristle but it's not really a con
I bought this yet again after reading raves on it on MuT. The small mascara wand is actually great idea, you can reach every lash that way, also in the very corners of your eyes. The black version is really glossy and dark, which I like in mascaras.
It gives really good volume, yet the clumping is very minimal! It´s also fairly easy to remove
Pros:small brush (reaches all lashes), gives great volume. Super dark black! Cons:none
This has got to be one of the worst mascaras I have ever used. The tube is pretty, silver. I couldn't wait to try it, but as soon as i opened it and saw what the wand looked like, (which was very gunky like) I just knew it would be very messy and clumpy. Even with my lash comb i have, it still didn't look good. The price i think was 7 dollars and something or close to it. what a waste.
Pros:pretty tube Cons:very clumpy and messy, which it claimed not to do. worst mascara.
Define-A-Lash Mascara is the greatest mascara i've used in years! I don't many lashes and I love the babydoll lash look, but I can't do that becuase alot of the stuff I use wears my lashes down. DAL lifted and spreaded my lashes and gave my eyes a definite look I can agree with!
I will buy this product again. *chee* ;-)
Pros:gave me the look i wanted for my lashes, doesn't wear my lash down, doesn't clump up my lashes Cons:none! Thank goodness!
usually i don't wear mascara because they don't make a significant difference in my lashes. however, with this new revlon mascara, my lashes are much longer, fuller, and have more curl to them. i can actually see my lashes a distance away from a mirror. great product, i love it.
So on my continuous hunt to try every mascara in the world, I recently came across Revlon 3D. It has a cute kinda retro looking silver package. The brush is fairly small and pretty stiff and kinda odd shaped but I didn't find that bothersome, but the problem seems to be that they didn't make the plunger in the mouth of the tube small enough. The brush comes out really really globbed up with product so you have to scrape it all off on the mouth of the tube. but the brush still stays pretty goopy and I find the mascara itself kinda thick so you can't really work the brush into your lashes and it seems to dry fairly fast on your lashes. Now it did give alot of volume and a decent amount of length but I had to use my lash comb to even out my lashes. it was only ok.......for me it was too clumpy but not bad. I will use this to the end of the tube but I will not buy it again. I have a feeling it's gonna dry up fast anyway.
Pros:I liked the brush Cons:way too gloppy coming out of the tube
I had a coupon for this new mascara and I needed something cheap until I could get up to Sephora again. Well I should of kept looking because this one isn't very good. The brush is TINY, I mean REALLY tiny and the formula is extremely wet and gloopy. Even after taking most of it off the brush, my lashes were STILL all gloopy and stuck together. Give this one a pass.
I am disappointed with this product. I purchased this mascara (in blackened brown) at my local Rite Aid drug store because it was on discount. The product irritated my eye area. The mascara clumps, is sticky, and smells like modeling glue. The brush bristles are swallow and not easy to use. The product was expenisve considering the qauilty was not better than NYC or Wet "n Wild's $3.00 mascaras.
Pros: Cons:Clumps, glue like smell and texture. Poor application brush.
I'm glad that I got this product cheap because it STUNK! While it did thicken, it was clumpy and goopy, dry and flaked like crazy. It's also one of the only mascaras that seemed to evaporate on my lashes by 1:00pm! I've never really been a big fan of Revlon mascaras, and this didn't change my mind. I'm sticking to my L'Oreal Voluminous.
Revlon’s Fabulash Mascara in Blackened Brown: First let me say come on Revlon, now what were they thinking with this VERY CRUDY brush? I mean really, does fabulash mean to apply mascara to only every 10 lash or what? What’s with the spaces on the brush? I think the whole brush thing turned me off. Maybe your suppose to use a twirling motion when applying this stuff, cuz with the bristle swirling up the brush, I would think this is the only way to get an even coat…???
If I would have used a different brush, this might have been your average Revlon Mascara. But I just find having to grab another brush, is too much of hassle every time I want to wear this. If I work hard and really mess with it, I can get it to go on even, but I shouldn’t have to battle my lashes nor with the brush to make this work. The mascara itself is average. Will smudge, but most mascara will in heat, humidity or onto oily lids…IF they are not waterproof or smudgeproof.
My skin: NW25/sensitive/hyper-oily/acne prone w/ pink undertones.
Pros:ummmmmm, product inside average Cons:brush bad!, use a different brush
I got a coupon for a Free Revlon Product and since there was nothing else that turned my crank at Wally World, I decided to try this out in 01 Blackest Black.
Let me say that I am on my third package of Rimmel Volum'Eyes. This is the one with the comb that many hate. For me, the Rimmel is quick, easy and dramatic.
So the Lash Fantasy: The primer was very thin and I didn't notice any huge thickening. The tube is pretty clever, since there's two ends, you only need one piece to store/carry. The color was not nearly as dramatic as my beloved Volum'Eyes. I ended up with nicely natural lashes for a really conservative look.
Overall, since it was free, no damage was done. I will give it one more go before I consign it to makeup purgatory.
Pros:It was free with a coupon. Cons:No visible difference from the primer, mascara itself thin and sort of bleah.
I tried this mascara because I was intrigued by the brush. One side of it has long bristles for lengthening and the other has shorter ones for thickening I think. I think this was decent for a basic mascara but it didn't give me a dramatic look. I think I've tried some mascaras that didn't even claim to be lengthening that gave me more length than this. You have to be kind of careful with how you use the brush also. I was most successful when I used the lengthening side first for a coat and then went over it for a second coat with the thickening side.
If you just want a basic everday mascara that will give you some extra length without much drama then you might enjoy this. I tend to like the false eyelash effect from mascaras so this isn't my favorite. Maybe I will get a better handle on using the brush and I'll start to like it more, but for now it seems kind of average to me.
Pros:Did add more length than my lashes initially had, innovative brush design, dark color Cons:takes some trial and error to figure out how this brush works best for you
I thought I would try this mascara because I liked the shape of the brush. It really made my lashes look longer without clumping them. You get different coverage - depending on which side of the brush you use. I usually do 2 coats but 1 was fine. I will buy it again.
Pros:Available in most stores Cons:Cannot think of any
This was no fantasy for me. I had trouble getting the color to look even and I am not a fan of the primer mascara. I always look for thickening formulas and this one didn't deliver at all. Think I'll stick to my MF and Maybelline mascaras.
Pros:Can't think of any. Cons:Doesn't lengthen or thicken well at all.
Best mascara I have ever used! Leaves my lashes full, thick, super long, lush and well defined, separated. Never clumps, flakes, smudges, smears or feels heavy. Keeps lashes soft and lifted all day. NOT for those who just want a natural look. This is for the makeup girl who wants that almost false lash look. A little expensive ( about $7.00) but worth it!
Pros:everything Cons:not good if you want that natural look
I love this mascara. I got it after hearing great raves about it in a magazine article-and they were right, it's great! I used to use Lancome and also Great Lash mascara, but I found myself adding coats and coats of them, and then having to curl my lashes with a curler afterwards. You don't need to do this with this product. One coat is enough to make my eyelashes look amazingly long, and there is NO clumping or flaking at all. The wand has an unusual shape, but after you get used to it, there's nothing bad about this product at all. It's the best mascara I've come across so far, and I've heard it's made with some sort of wax so it actually helps to "condition" your lashes as well, which is an added bonus.
Pros:Lengthens, doesn't clump or flake, one coat is enough to get amazing lashes. Cons:None!
Fabulash Mascara is awesome!. It lengthens, it curls, it makes my eyes 1000X more noticeable. I like it better than any of the department store brands. The price, depending on where you buy it, is $6.99- $9.99.
In have my mother hooked on it.
Pros:Beautiful, long , noticeable lashes. Cons:none.
This stuff is cr@p. It only darkens- no lengthening or thickening. The only good thing about it is that it doesn't smudge. It also doesn't come off. It does NOT come off!!! When I use this, it takes three to four days for it to come off of my lashes. After I try to remove it and wash my face, my lashes stick together until this stuff feels like it wants to remove itself from my lashes. This sucks sucks sucks.
