I have bought this product more than once. I really liked wearing it during the summer when I was tan and never broke out. Now that its winter time and my skin isnt so great, i have to use a lot of consealers which makes bareminerals look cakey. i would recommend this product to anyone who doesnt have bad breakouts. but if you do break out, i would stick to a foundation with more coverage!
This product is incredible. I am a 16 year old girl with problem skin, as many teenagers have. I was caught in a frustrating cycle: I wanted to cover my horrible acne, so I used heavy makeup... but the heavy makeup only made my acne worse! I saw this product on TV and I thought that it was too good to be true... the thought that someone with skin as bad as mine was using a tiny bit of a mineral powder and seeing incredible results didn't seem realistic. However, I went to Sephora and had a makeup artist test some on my skin. I couldn't believe how amazing it made my skin look!
��� Now, I would never use another product. I have perfectly clear skin to this day, and I have never seen a dermatologist for my acne. This product really does give you back the skin you were born with.
Pros:works on any skin type, great for fair skinned people who don't want to look too "orange" Cons:somewhat expensive, kind of annoying to get out the perfect amount and swirl & tap
I was pretty disappointed in this product...If you have dry skin defintiely dont even consider getting this !
Even when my skin wasn't dry.. it looks obvious on me.. and it also made my pores look very noticable.. when i dont even wear make up you cant even notice my pores !� also i t doesnt seem to give that much coverage... so if you have a blemish or whatever it won't cover it up... it's kinda useless in my opinion... you dont get much in those little jars either... the covers to them break easily it seems... the one i have cracked just when i was closing it !� such a waste.. i� gave it a 4 as a price range... only b/c i know there are so many more expensive powders out there

I had heard raves about Bare Minerals and spent hours glued to the t.v watching the infomercial. Could it be so??? Such a miracle?? Well sadly I ordered it and found it messy, drying and blotchy!It seemed to emphasize every pore in my face. It also spread out into my forehead creases and made me look old.....I'm 23!!! Everytime I tried it at home I ended up spilling more than I could ever use. Tears�. I think the statement "so pure you can sleep in it" is gross and misleading.
I'm young and have fairly clear, though combination skin, only occasional breakouts.� I don't usually wear make up, but I love this stuff.� It doesn't feel like makeup, is pretty fool-proof, especially when the colour of my skin changes through the seasons. I used to have to buy new shades, when I had more precise MAC colours.��This gives a natural finish, and the concealer brush with some foundation in my normal colour�covers any red spots.�I make sure to put moisturizer on first, but this way I can choose my own, super light, oil-free kind, rather than whatever is in the liquid foundations.� The warmth adds the perfect bronze colour (again, its pretty fool-proof), since they're not unnatural colours they blend easily into the skin and practically disappear.� Basically�I like how natural�they looks and feels.
Pros:Light natural coverage, fool-proof Cons:Not super heavy like liquid, so if you're trying to conceal alot, may not cover completely
Well, I thought I'd give my 2 cents about this product line. I love/hate it. I don't like the concealer, I use my regular concealer because I needed more coverage. I like the powder color and coverage. I kinda feel like I put a ton of it on, but its pretty much the same as putting your powder, blush, and bronzer on. I have gotten less breakouts from this product, but it is good to use the cleanser to exfoliate your skin so that you don't get blackheads. I like to use a cold cream or cleanser before to remove the make-up and then the md formulations cleanser. But recently I began an acne care program.
I hate the packaging and the mess, after I'm done I don't know if I'll buy again, but it does make your skin look less made up.�
I am not a fan of Bare Escentuals mineral powder foundation! I can't find one color that matches my skin tone. The one I did buy sort of sat on top of my skin, it never melted in like most powder foundations, and don't put it by any wrinkles you may have cause it will just accentuate them. Not that I have a massive amount of wrinkles mind you. But I didn't appreciate that at all! I just couldn't find anything I liked about it.
Pros:It doesn't cost as much as some of the other mineral foundations. Cons:Trying to match skin tone, doesn't melt into your skin
