It seems that I'm the only person who HATED this product. I actually bought it twice in a row because I couldn't afford MAC at the time and assumed that Revlon colorstay was  the best drugstore option (I remember from the teen years of cheap makeup that the colorstay line usuaually does have lasting wear) First of all, the stupid thing wouldn't even make a black line on my eyes! I would go over, and over, and over again trying to draw a line and was lucky to get anything, much less the dark black line I was hoping for. It's self sharpening, and even with just enough tip exposed to "do the job" the tip would break off quite often. I had to go old school on it and touch it to a hot curling iron before applying. Silly me, I went back for more thinking that I couldn't expect anything more from a drugstore brand. The third time I thought that instead of wasting $9 so frequently (I could've stuck with MAC for the price of 2 of these) I went for a 2 pack of some brand I'd never heard of for $4 thinking I had nothing to lose, it couldn't be any worse...Well, what I got was Styli-Style line & seal waterproof 24 hour wear liner in black and it was AWESOME!! Not self sharpening, but not made of wood so it sharpens easily. Never breaks, glides on smoothly, stays in place, lasts all day and night! If I can ever find this product again I will stock up and never waste my money on the expensive ones again!!

Pros: none
Cons: worst eyeliner ever

I don't have the Jet color, I bought a beautiful cadet blue. It doesn't matter, the stuff is no good. The powder flies all over and doesn't give you a line at all.

Love this liner! It's lasting power is what I love the most, and then of course, the fact that it doesn't tug on your skin and applies very gently and easily. it smudges occasionally, but not nearly as much as other liners. This is great for lasting power, and if you want something that will really last you, this is a great buy.

i absolutley love this eyeliner.. my favorite by far.  for a waterproof eyeliner, it goes on smoothly, doesnt irritate, and last forever.  plus it blends well when you first put it on (harder to blend if you let it sit).
i love the sharpener at the end because i love my liners to have a crisp line to get into the lash line.  i hate liners that are like pencils because i always get wood chips in it when i sharpen or when it starts getting low, i always poke my eye with the sharp wood end.
this i love.

Pros: lasts, blends, waterproof

This limited edition product offers the smokey smudged line in one product.  The wand is similar to a smudging sponge brush.  It has a dark powder that is finely milled, so it feels so smooth going on, and and it's great for that smoky eye.  I love the way it looks, but you have to be very very careful.  A lot of product gets on the tip of the wand and the tip is quite big.  The powder will get all over your face.  The best thing to do is to tap off all the excess and then lean forward so that any loose powder will not fall on your cheeks.  Another product that could be equivalent to this is Rimmel Underground Smokin', although Bedroom Eyes goes on much darker and more smoothly.

Pros: Looks good if you can do a neat job
Cons: Can get quite messy

This is the eyeliner that I use everyday.  Nothing beats liquid liner for lasting power, but I just can't be bothered to use liquid liner on a day to day basis.  This liner stays on the best of all the mass-market or department store brands I've used (in terms of a pencil liner).  It DOES smudge, but it applies better than other brands I've used, and stays on a lot longer than regular liners.

It stays put all day and only smears a bit sometimes when my lids are extremely oily. This eyeliner works well with UDPP in creating a long-lasting liner look. There are 6 colors to choose from and I've black brown with me. It features a white plastic built-in sharpener and the pro for this product is it glides on lids smoothly and wears up to wholeday.

Pros: cheap and works great
Cons: smears sometimes

Revlon's ColorStay Eyeliner works and wears well.  Glides on smooth, but will transfer a bit on oily lids (maybe some primer would help this).  For the price, this is a good eyeliner.  I still keep this for lazy days, in my makeup bag.  Nothing stays put like Mac's Fluidline, before I discovered Fluidline, this was my eyeliner of choice.

The shade I have is 'Black/Brown'....which is self explanitory (a matted black/brown shade).  Downfall would be color selection, not very many colors to choose from.

Pros: glides on, wears well, waterproof, smudgeproof for normal lids
Cons: will smudge on oily lids, may work better with an eye shadow primer

Is it too philosophical of me to say that a person needs to be able to trust their eyeliner? If you're going out and doing a day-long event and don't have a chance to touch-up your makeup, eyeliner is one of those things that you want to stay put and if it doesn't stay put it can either 1.) completely disappear, or 2.) smudge and make your eyes look bad....you won't have either of these problems with Revlon Colorstay eyeliner.

This is one of those self-sharpening liners, and I have it in Black.  It goes on very smoothly, doesn't irritate my eye area, and lasts all day.  If I want to create a look that I can count on and I know won't fade on me, I wear Revlon colorstay. As an anchor for my campus TV station I'm under very bright lights that do some strange things to makeup. But this liner is still my choice because when it's all over it looks the same as when I started.

Also, you know how sometimes with a pencil or even a self-sharpening pencil, the black is sometimes not so black? Not the case here....you get a truly black color. When I run out of eyeliner and I need a new black, this is always the one I go back to....good thing it's inexpensive! love this product!

Pros: stays, very black, goes on easily
Cons: nope....it's great!

My HG eyeliner. Great black. Doesn't need to be sharpened.. you just twist it. No raccoon eyes. Easy to find in drugstores. love.

Pros: easy to find, no raccoon eyes, jet black, lasts, automatic
Cons: must layer on a few linings (at least for me)

simply the best automatic eyeliner there is. I have this in black, and it's a true, dark, deep black. It lasts ALL day. I've even fallen asleep with this on and when I wake up it hasn't smudged! But it's still pretty easy to remove. Amazing stuff. And pretty cheap, too.

Pros: great colors, lasts all day, no raccoon eyes
Cons: not the easiest to smudge

A very nice plum color. It goes on smoothly and it's easy to blend. It doesn't go on like a powder just softly. I wear it mostly with pink and plum eyeshadows. Good quality for the price. (January 18, 2005)

This is a good item for any girl, I have used it to go partys, celebrations and all sorts, i have been complimented on my eyes, the electric blue brings out my blue eyes and is a very good as it dont run and can only be removed by water proof makeup remover, i think this product is a very sexy colour and would push every one to try it even if it was just the once, this product comes in 9 gorgeous colours electric blue, hot pink, green, silver, gold, lilac, purple, red and orange. Great for partys and lasts all night so go ahead a try it for yourselves most beauty shops sell it. so you dont have to just take my word for it.
