This powder is great on my tzone for sopping up any oil. Even though the powder is almost translucent it does not leave a white powdery residue like some other pressed powders do.
I love this product. I have very oil skin and this helps absorbs oil and keeps my make up looking fresh. I can also wear this without other foundations on, it's that great!!!
This powder is great. I really only use it in the summer, and now I'm totally in love with the loose powder formula.
During the hot and sticky months, I'll blot the excess oil from my face and then roll this onto my skin. Its not a full coverage powder, so I don't worry about it getting cakey. It mattifies my skin and gives it a bit of a retouched look. I really like how its finish "perfects" my skin.

I like this powder! It does blot the oil away but I just don't having to put it on over and over again. It can start to clog pores and since I have acne prone skin I don't really need that so I'll just stick to the blotter sheets!

This powder is wonderful for blotting those oily spots on your face. Is a great touch up product. Helps to keep you matte without taking off your makeup. Goes on light and sheer.
MAC blot powder is fantastic -- it is one of the few cosmetic products that doesn't aggravate my oily, sensitive and acne prone skin. Sets make-up beautifully and is talc-free, so it doesn't cake or settle into pores and fine lines; controls oil well. I also like the fact that the various shades offered have slightly golden-yellow undertones, which subdue redness nicely. It is true that it doesn't provide great coverage, as someone mentioned; however, it does give a natural looking, long lasting finish. I've tried many other powders and I always return to this one.
Pros:Talc-free, non irritating, nice finish, contols oil well. Cons:I tend to go through it very quickly, though I don't use it strictly as a blot powder.
This product is great! It is not for those fo you looking to cover a bunch of zits or skin problems. This is excellent to finish off your look or set your makeup. Oily skin like mine responds well to a quick dab. When you use it to set make up, it gives you a smooth surface to adhere other makeup to. It is also great when you are going from that dewy look and end up looking too dewy and wet. Just a little of this will soak up the extra shine or gloss and not change the way your color looks. It is a staple in my makeup bag that lasts forever. My blot powder didn't empty for 2 years. It is awesome!

I have this in DARK. I just got it the other day and I absolutely love it! It's a pressed powder in a mirrored compact w/ puff. I love that it takes away ALL shine, but really doesn't deposit any color, so it won't distort or add to your foundation, and won't mess up your finished face! This is amazing at zapping shine. Just one quick swipe and you get a natural matte finish. I love this compared to regular pressed powders because it's extremely light, & doesn't feel like your adding anything onto your skin. It isn't drying or 'tight' or unnatural feeling in any way, and I will definitely repurchase! I keep this in my bag and touch up throughout the day. I am noticing though that i really don't have to reapply often as it keeps my skin shine-free for hours! GReat alone or over your foundation - and when you want to fresehen up the t-zone. :)
I love Blot :) It's literally the best oil controlling powder I've tried! I mostly use it to touchup with, but occasionally I use it to set my makeup. Either way, it works fabulously well! I'll be repurchasing this for as long as they make it.

A very light, powder-only (no coverup) product. Very good at absorbing excess oil, restoring your face to a shine-free appearance with just a few wipes.
MAC Blot Powder is designed for those women who battle the oilies during the day which would be me! It's a pressed powder with a light, airy texture that doesn't build up with repeated use. Many of the "Shine Control" powders I have used either don't deliver or they add another noticeable layer of powder..However, MAC Blot manages to keep my oilies at bay without caking into my pores. If an oily t-zone is your problem during the day, then MAC Blot is what you need.
