THIS IS THE MOST HORRIBLE "GEL" BLUSH OUT THERE!!! Well I'm pretty sure there's worse but this is literally the crappiest one I tried! I came across this on a BOGO after I fell in love with Mark's Cream Blush in a tube in "Cheeky" and I wanted something that made my cheeks look dewy. This crap was so inconsistent on how it pumped out, sometimes I had to pump it 3 times to get some out and sometimes it would all squirt out!! Pathetic packaging. To make matters worse, the actual "gel" felt and looked exactly like the liquid stuff mixed with the bits of jello when you buy jello packs, you know, the stuff when you first open one up and some is stuck to the foil? (Or as someone lovely put it, blood clots.) GROSS!!! To make it worse when you actually put on your cheek, it left a watermark revealing the little peach fuzz I did have!! And then after trying to blend this "jello" on my cheek it stayed watery for more than I liked, finally drying to a very vague blotchy color that had somehow managed to create an ashey gray cast on there. Thank god I had already ordered Tarte's Gel Blush, my definite HG, because I don't think I could've dealt with the garbage any longer!
Luckily, they don't allow us to give anything a 0 so I had to put at least 1 (that gray cast and watermark did last a remarkable 10 hours and lead my husband to say "Baby, does your cheek have a rash?")
I love this tint.I hate powder blush so this was a great find for me.I have it in peach afterglow. It looks so natural. But for a drugstore line it is expensive.
This is a mauvey colored blush. The compact, I just now noticed after looking at the back, has a pop up mirror (you press a button and pull out the mirror). The brush included is worthless. The blush is a matte finish. Did nothing for brightening up my face. Did not bother my skin (this is the plus), but that might be the only good thing about this blush.
This blush is nothing to brag about, I only used it a couple times then went back to a favorite Mary Kay Blush (this was before I discovered my Clinique's Mocha Pink). ]
My skin: NW25/sensitive/hyper-oily/acne prone w/ pink undertones.
This blush honestly sucked. The name might imply that this is a beige color? But it's actually pink.. or so it appears in the compact. This blush had virtually no pigment.. I kept pressing the brush against the blush and put it on my cheeks.. and FINALLY, there's pigment. However, if this blush is truly not a piece of crap, then it would have pigment BEFORE having to rub the brush on the color vigorously a few times. Once it goes on, it's a clownish pink.. and no, I can't apply with a lighter hand, because I have tried to and with a light hand, it is free of pigment. I gave this two stars because at least it eventually had pigment even though I didn't really like the color or quality. This is my mom's, but she said I could try it.. I'm assuming it was about $8, taking the price of Revlon products into consideration. Better blushes can be found for much cheaper than that IMO, so I'm not impressed at the least.
Pros:the pigment EVENTUALLY showed up.. Cons:after rubbing the brush vigorously in the blush several times. and it looked clownish. and it's not cheap. and it's poor quality. as well as PURE CRAP =]
Sunny is a gorgeous shimmery golden pinky peach. It's a very face brightening shade! My first one dried out after I paletted it, but I will repurchase.
The whole skinlights line is great. A bit pricey for drugstore, but worth it. This is a nice peachy bronzey color. Gives you a natural golden glow...great for summer!
I love this crème blush. I have it in sunny which is a pinkish bronze color. Amazing quality for the price. Give a nice dewy glow. It makes me look like I have been to the beach. The blush lasts all day. Love how it makes my cheekbones stand out.
I really like these little pots of cream color. Rosy is a medium rose shade with shimmer. The formula is actually quite creamy and blends well. On cheeks it provides a nice rose flush and on lips it provides a nice medium pink finish that looks awesome topped with a bit of gloss. These aren't the most longest lasting things in the world, but they're rather impressive IMO.
I hope Revlon releases more of these in the future. I fell in love with back when China Doll and Tiger Lily was released, and a summer or so ago I purchased Razzberry, a gorgeous bright fresh pink. I love it and tho I have used it a lot, hardly have I made a dent in it as it takes so lil. These are awesome cheek and lip stains...lasts all day on me and the color is so easy to blend and fresh. I love it. The only downfall is the pot packaging, making it a bit difficult to get out and unsanitary.
